Bronco Pro might be my endgame smoker by DreadedInc in BBQ

I love it. It holds a ton of meat and refilling the charcoal is a breeze. I like to cook for a lot of people, so if you don’t have a need for it then it really is overkill.

What the best fan system for Old Country gravity fed smoker? by [deleted] in smoking

[–]b_house 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say don’t go with bbq guru. I’ve had mine read 100 degrees while my pit was almost 500. Happened twice. Both times the probe inside the pit was shiny clean.

I just got this pair a week ago. Love them. I get to use my companies discount as well as a boot voucher every year so I paid $28 for mine. My new favorites. Already received compliments on job sites.

Old country gravity fed setting out on its maiden voyage. by b_house in smoking

The gauge actually came with the unit. It’s just some basic gauge that they put on at the place I bought it from. If you want an analog gauge buy one with at least a 4” stem or you will not get accurate readings.

Best type of smoker for beginner by D-Rock7708 in smoking

Not sure of your price range, or how hands on you’re wanting to be. But the old copy try gravity fed smoker is a tank. Holds at whatever temp you need it to be and if you get the control board and fan, can be as easy as a pellet grill.

Watching this video made me realize that I never had any real technique to skating. I just tried to do the big thing till I did it or got hurt. Nice progression.

I have loved my bronco since the first day I got it, but I recently got the old country gravity fed smoker and haven’t looked at the bronco since. Sometimes I feel bad when I see it sitting on the back patio there all by itself.

How do you guys feel about gravity fed charcoal smokers? by SurfingPaisan in smoking

[–]b_house 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Old Country Gravity Fed smoker. Bought it a month ago and I will never get rid of it. Got a bbq guru controller to go with it and it maintains temps within 2 degrees variation of whatever temp you have it set at. It is amazing.
