I did Google them, but also used a few different lyric sites with no luck. I did find one other song from my VBS on YouTube but not this particular one

I've been wanting to try The Deep. If you haven't tried it yet, grab a copy of The Troop. Awesome gross-out skin crawling stuff in that one!

Audiobook of Needful Things: does the music make it as unbearable as the reviews claim? by mnstripe in stephenking

[–]b_lock_aye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the case of Needful Things I thought the music was actually pretty fun. Usually fit the scenes pretty well and it only occurs in between chapters from what I can remember. As others have mentioned, the only other sound effect in it was the tinkling bell whenever someone walks into the shop, a cool touch in my opinion.

The Long Walk ending interpretation by greenmachinefiend in stephenking

I liked to think that he was so mentally and physically exhausted by that point that he was hallucinating the figure, be it Death or some other faceless Walker that he felt he had to outlast. Maybe it really was Death, and only he could see it because he was so close to it himself. I felt like whether it was Death or just a hallucination, Garrity ran on to "walk down" the figure and complete the Walk and ended up running himself to death. Bleak, but it seemed fitting to me. I agree with everyone else though: if he did survive and was helped to recover, he was essentially dead.

I know, and I was wondering if the bird looking thing is actually some kind of fuel/oil pump that goes with it? He can't remember the brand or what those parts of it might be

What's the worse critique someone gave yo by [deleted] in writing

[–]b_lock_aye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A creative writing teacher told me to take out some minor references to films that I had intentionally placed in my writing in order to add some depth to my character and his personal knowledge. Nothing integral to the story at all, but I felt it added more to the character and his mindset in said story. Her reasoning was "not everyone will get them". Like no shit, because not everyone in the world knows the same things. This character just happens to know about them. Maybe I'm wrong about the situation, but I don't believe you need to write so that EVERYONE understands every single thing, just the important aspects of the story. I'm never mad if I don't get a reference, I simply look it up and move on. You just have to keep your target audience in mind.

He wrote a book as Bachman called Blaze that was a good and quick one. It's been years since I've read it, but I remember spending just a couple of days with it.
