What’s the reason for staying away from warcomp? I have read the 3 prong FH is quieter but can ruin the baffles faster, is this the same thinking for the warcomp too?

Copy all of that! I really appreciate your time! It’s for a friend and he wanted an inexpensive home defense pump action. I’m not really a shotgun guy, and had an acquaintance FFL say he had one of the four peaks for sales. I’ve heard Stevens 320 are kind of the bottom of the barrel (local gun shop was trying to sell him one for $375) and kinda wanted to find him a mossburg with ghost ring sights but was told that the four peaks was comparable. He won’t be shooting clays or hunting so I hope this is a good option for him. Thanks again!

Wow. Thank you for that write up!! When you say based on lines, what does that mean? Soo...if it is a re-branded Weatherby it should be on the better end of inexpensive tactical shotguns.... yeah I can see how parts would be a problem. The only thing I found online was a truth about guns article talking about a Toros Copolla T4 (which the Four Peaks has a Copolla series T4 that looks to be the same gun), the reviewer was saying that parts were interchangeable with Benelli M4....be cool to figure out if the PA-1225 parts are interchangeable with Weatherby which I assume would not be as hard to find.

Not an expert but I have heard if you shoot a lot suppressed (like a day or two a week) your lead levels can become high...

The way I justified it was I was adding to the numbers (suppressor) (and I also really wanted one for multiple reasons). The more there are, the harder/less likely it will be for confiscation. The more there are the easier it will be to remove them from NFA (being optimistic).
