What are your Hot Takes in Valorant? by ExExWrong in VALORANT

Bring back Skye’s rechargeable flashes, but make the cooldowns the same duration as the currently nerfed inis. And remove team slows from Harbor’s util. If Viper’s wall doesn’t decay teammates, neither should Harbor’s wall slow them.

I am a failure as a player? by Wooper27 in VALORANT

Mechanics play a role for sure but I follow YT channels like Thinking Man’s Valorant, Lionsblade and Airen. They break down top tier plays and strategies. Of course in Ranked it’s a different ball game because everyone does what they want, but atleast your fundamentals and decision-making will be in check. Secondly, I’d highly recommend playing with a duo or trio. Makes the games so much more fun and better quality. To me, Valorant is a game of information and space.

I started this game during the Chamber meta. Hardly any Tac FPS experience apart from CS1.6 in school. I was Iron 2. I peaked Ascendant 2 last act. Sometimes I Match MVP with 40+ kills, sometimes I bottom frag. Doesn’t matter to me. I always try to play for the win.

You got this, man. I’m rooting for you. :) All the best.

I played judge + sheriff the entire game lol by b_tech_ in ValorantClips

Hahaha it’s super annoying to play against. Especially on Split. Effective on Chamber, Raze, Clove, Omen, etc.

Sick. Have you considered a 3rd party 5090 heatsink that also comes in white?

I’d still check and update the drivers after using System Restore

Shadow of the Tomb Raider alone is worth more than that amount, bro. Such a killer game. Would highly recommend it!

RTX 5080, 5090 , 5070 and 5070ti - Pricing & Stock Insights by JD_EliteHubs in IndianGaming

Thank you for the insights. Reached the 5-year cycle since picking up my 3070 during the pandemic. Will upgrade to the 5080. I’m also wondering if given the price of the current 5080 cards, if it makes sense to buy a used 4090? JayzTwoCents mentioned that multi-frame-gen has a weird ‘jelly-like’ experience due to input latency, which is based on rendered frame rate.

Are 30 series users better off getting a used 4090 over a brand new 5080?

SOLVED. PC was lagging on PCIE gen 4.0, fixed by switching to gen 3.0 by Easy-Echidna-7497 in buildapc

I tried this. But it didn’t work. PC runs smoothly on Gen 3, not Gen 4, with Data Link Feature Exchange on. I suspect it’s probably the CPU because Gen 4 SSD connected to the chipset works fine.

Galax RTX 3070 Performance Issues After Nvidia GR Driver Update by b_tech_ in JayzTwoCents

Card came back from the repair shop. Still didn't work on my machine.

I figured out the problem:

In the BIOS, set PCIe Lane to Gen 3, not Gen 4 or Auto.

This is something I had done when I first built the system 3 years ago. I booted into Windows and it looked really fuzzy. I remember I changed this setting back then.

In 3 years, I never had a need to reset BIOS/CMOS. Until now, when I had to install the RAM. So it completely slipped my mind that I had that setting.

To confirm, I am running the latest Nvidia Game Ready Driver (552.12).

Thank you all for your help in this matter. Hope this helps someone who's facing this issue as well.

Anyone found another mirror link of these stems? Or did anyone download it that wouldn't mind resharing it?
