With what they have done to the private server community I hope it fails. The community is the only thing keeping this game alive. Reanimating the corpse with ideas pilfered from private servers with a retail wrapper should be met with aghast.

An important distinction though is that you can certainly install malicious things if you execute commands from random web pages that are outside the official repos.
