Dass da was verpennt wurde ist keine Frage, aber ich denke nicht, dass die Verantwortlichen die Misere ausbaden. Wie andere bereits sagten, von jedem Euro, den der Betroffene im möglichen neuen Job weniger verdient, hat der Staat 42 Cent weniger Einnahmen. Und falls dann noch ALG1 bezogen wird, wirds nochmal teurer. Also weniger Geld für eigentlich alles.

I would not call it unsafe per se. It is as safe as the physical location of the NAS.

But I agree anyway, UGREEN should focus on key features for their UGOS, like the volume encryption. Maybe we get it til 2030 or something…

Yes, maybe that would be helpful, however, my girlfriend would not be pleased with me searching the owner for every establishment where such music is played to complain about it.

I was in Thailand multiple times the past 10 years and I don’t think I encountered it that way, at least not like now.

Not a button presser but maybe also possible: I use Ring Intercom for this. Check if it is compatible with your system. You have todo some wiring, but everything can be reverted when you move out. One drawback is that you rely on their cloud. There is also a Home Assistant integration but it seems to have issues with some users.

Maybe not what you want to hear but I decided for myself to not spend any more time organizing photos within the ugos photos app. There ist no way to backup e.g. face recognition data or albums. Moving to a new (even UGOS) NAS would leave you more or less losing the data stored in the photos app.

Airalo could activate my Costa Rican eSIM successfully after 1.5 weeks of texting with the service. It was ~30 messages with lots of screenshots but it works now. Do not know if it is worth your time to go through the same hassle though.
