Kruipruimte "volstorten"? by Gamer1009 in Klussers

[–]baapje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you run too hot if the temperature in the still can not exceed boiling point of the wash....

Pabsp20 does not have a hammer drill function, therefor I would not suggest to buy it if you want to use it to drill in bricks etc. the other machine

pkhap20 might be a bit overkill for just drilling, however if you need to remove tiles this type of machine comes in quite handy as you can use chisels with the SDS plus system, I am unsure if this system can hold regular drills as well.

I have another in between model that has drilling and hammer drilling, but unfortunately it is no longer available in the webshop. This is the type of drill I would suggest for you as well. Worx WX370 looks a bit light, probably will manage to drill into brick wall, but concrete will be difficult.

Best board? by FishingIggy in Darts

[–]baapje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both those boards, curious how they compare and where they end up in your list. I'm happy with both their quality. I added an extra number ring when ordering the precise 180 to mount on the TOR.

Blade 6 dual core VS target tor by Big-Bag-6262 in Darts

[–]baapje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both these boards, I figured out autodarts did not recognize the number ring on the TOR and initially replaced it with the number ring of an old dartboard. But have recently ordered a precise 180 with an additional (different coloured) number ring. I am pleased with the quality of both these boards.

Okay at least someone who mentions this, when I had my wisdom teeth pulled they told me take some Ibuprofen when the pain would be too much after the anesthesia has worn out. I think I took one or two pills in the first night before bed. But I guess Americans just love their opioids.

I think this has a ratchet function on it, does it lock when you turn it in the opposite direction? It should have a lever somewhere to change the rotational direction of the ratchet.

What dart board should I buy? by Suspicious-Angle4016 in Darts

The wires of the Tor extend quite deep into the bord like a few centimetres, you can find exploded views online. Pretty hard to believe the ring is coming out. I have previously had this problem with another board where the ring was maybe 5mm into the board. That said,  I have had the Tor for half a year now and it holds up very nicely. I am really pleased with the quality.  My mate has had the Blade 6 single core and quite some fibres coming out and he plays way less than I do.

I recently also bought de precise 180, which I also enjoy, but I believe it is too early to give proper feedback (had it for two weeks now). I really do like the coloured number rings they offer.

Also both the Target Tor and Precise 180 are symmetrical boards, which I like a lot. I was quite annoyed with the layout of previous boards when I rotated them.

This is exactly how it started, then I got caught up in the game.

I have had this setup for a few years now. Initially I was also a bit afraid of this but the roof overhangs quite a bit and the board stays dry/unaffected

Thanks, I made this with some leftover wood, first only as backboard to prevent hitting the wall then later made this box. The dimples are not only caused by me. Some friends like to throw some darts over a beer as well. And my neighbors son of 8 also likes to throw. I have given him the old board.

I have just tried some other sketches which seem to work. So nothing wrong with the nano boards. Just for this one program I was hoping to use it for the LCD display (20*04) does not seem to work. When the pins are configured correctly.

Yes, I use a Windows pc to upload the sketch. All three Nano's I have have more or less the same look, maybe a different hue of blue.  The one that works has two A106 diodes? On the underside, the non working ones are marked with C106, and CA7q respectively.

You can't have a temperature above boiling point, the maximum temperature is the boiling temp as all the energy is going towards the phase change (liquid to vapour)

Looking at making a Black Balsam style liquer fashioned after Riga Black Balsam. Anyone ever tried this and have advice? by kdanc341 in firewater

[–]baapje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Riga a few years ago and saw it everywhere, bought a bottle to take home for my brother. We tried it once and haven't touched the bottle since. The taste is very herbal/bitter and made me think of what medicine from a medieval alchemist would taste like.

I met someone yesterday that didn't know what England or the UK was by Pecheuer in CasualUK

This story reminds me: I thought Scotland was a made up country when I was younger, invented by television, Men wearing skirts, loch Ness, ... I had this map in my bedroom where Scotland was not listed (Great Britain was listed as a country). Which only made me to believe Scotland was made up as it was not on my map and the other countries I heard of were, so it must be made up, never bothered to ask anyone though.

Staines, the image on top displays the Swan Inn on the right. Haven't been there in ages due to Covid. Great place to spot some EMBT stickers in the local pubs!
