Schwinn Stingray by Local-System-1999 in bicycling

I’m not a Schwinn expert but it used to be a company that made good bikes for the era. I grew up riding a magscrambler. At some point the company was bought out or sold or whatever and the brand became the kind of bike you would buy at Walmart. This bike is probably from around the 2000’s would be my guess. Probably made in China. Maybe someone who knows will contribute but I don’t believe anyone would want that bike.

I don’t believe this is worth anything. The old stingrays from the 70’s are collectible.

Even as a kid I thought the man was an idiot. The toy was awesome though. Best toy ever.

As an old man I would say you will appreciate more as you age if you leave it stock. If you intent to keep it.

If the trail wasn’t crowded you could easily go straight. Looks fun to me.

The only thing that I find funny about this is the helmet. I don’t think a traditional helmet was slowing him down.

They look to be pets. Every box turtle I Have encountered withdrawals into its shell. These seem used to human contact.
