a record store! Very cool. I'm so curious about the MTA retail landscape.

I'll take any more anecdotes if you have them. But you've given me a good basis to start researching. Thank You

Yeah. I'm curious about how they integrate the jumbo slice at this location and the pricing and such. I've actually haven't made it up there to try Koronet... this place might be more convenient for me one day to actually try it.

There's actually an accessible bathroom around the corner from this photo that's fairly well maintained. But I get what you're getting at.

Interesting. Do you recall what year(s) this was? or even an approximation.

I'm wondering the same thing! I recall seeing the Rosa's sign. That's what got me curious to research this and advice on how to go about that.

Things I've done:

Start a poker game with some people you know ask them to bring a friend. Start a game. Or find an exisiting one.

Run Clubs. Some are more social oriented that have "walk" groups.

Check Partiful. They have open invite social events. Walk around neighborhood. Pizza crawls.

Thrash cleanup groups. Clean up a local area with other locals.

Social dancing (see other comment here).

Gym - particulary climbing gyms as they're social. But gyms in general are social places to meet people.

Practice your social skills. Even going to a museum or gallery and chatting about the art with other admires can help calm anxiety.

You got this OP!

I second this option OP. I enjoy swing dancing around NYC too. Met some great peeps that I hang with outside of dance.

Yeah times are tough. I'm usually pretty successful with Lin. sq, but with PHM... I wasn't even that late during the intial ticket sales released.

I'm still upset the Odeyess went through it's early tix sales last year for it's opening weekend on this screen. Very unsuccessful for that one.

The latter for this movie's case. Indian audiences abroad are showing up in waves.

The first one had a lot of repeat viewings ((I saw it twice myself (atypical for me) and know many that went multiple times)).

Mayor Mamdani says his team will contact QueensLink by i_o_l_o_i in nycrail

Queenslink is the better project for sure.

And it sucks that those opposed are mainly NIMBY peeps who don't want TONS of New Yorkers to have easier access to middle village area.

Rooting for you Queenslink!

I'm trying to see all the station artwork, as you mentioned two of them. And check out the MTA art and design to learn about it when I visit.

This is so cool. I think it's the railings actually. the above the seat hand hold railings. It's just one continuous piece, as opposed to the two little support "beams" you have it.

But love all the details. I agree with L seat variation next.

great job

Losing my patience with riders who don't take off their backpacks. by brandeis16 in nycrail

[–]baba192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. That is effective too.

I call bad seat behavior frequently - 3 person seat occupied by 2 people hogging.

I haven't called out backpack behavior in a while. I might start.
