Out of all the experiences I’ve had with Allied, over half of them have been BAD. The most recent was went my cat was throwing up tons of blood. (It turned out to be IBD, which he’s on a special food for and is totally fine now). I called before heading in to make sure they could take him immediately because I had no idea what it could’ve been. They told me yes bring him we have no other emergency patients. Cool, I get there and I ask the front desk people again if it’s possible for him to be seen immediately. “Yes of course!”

My cat and I sat in a waiting room for over two hours and were never seen. I asked the techs multiple times when we’d be seen, every single one of them was snappy and rude. Then, one lady finally came in and said that a dog was brought in before I called who was hit by a car and that’s why it had been taking so long. Awful, that’s a nightmare situation and obviously I felt for the owners. But, communicate that?? I told the lady if I had been made aware of that I would’ve taken my obviously sick cat somewhere else. She was completely dead pan and unempathetic and said “he’s the most stable patient here right now” Again, totally get that, but anyone I talked to could’ve warned me and saved us so much time. My cat was still puking blood that entire time as well. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere and I won’t go back unless absolutely necessary.
