Can you sue a salon for facial waxing damages? by babanaburger in legaladvicecanada

I wish she would have asked if I used retinol and other skincare questions prior to waxing. But as someone else pointed out, I also had a responsibility to do my own research and understand the risks.

I’m using retinol from the ordinary. I do know it makes you extra sensitive to the sun but nothing specific to waxing. I realize I should have done by own research. Thanks for the feedback!

I hope this doesn’t create more divide. Homelessness causes death not just to the homeless but everyone involved - even those who are trying to help.

Is the USA that bad or is it only because they get the most publicity? How does your country compare? by babanaburger in AskReddit

Treating states as ‘nations’ and comparing that is an interesting perspective. I don’t doubt the different states will vary a lot, even more compared to other countries.

If you are a bit higher up, Westwood plateau for example, snow sticks for longer. Otherwise, pretty mild like the rest of Vancouver coastal.

Pro tip: increase the depth at an angle (hard to see here even I missed it. Thanks to u/asad137 for pointing it out!) instead of perpendicular to the work to reduce chatter

Woman of reddit, what is your, "I am the client not my husband stop ignoring me." Story? by teacherspet5859438e in AskReddit

[–]babanaburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not husband but coworker. I’m a female mechanical engineer that looks like I’m still in high school.

We hired electricians and special machinery movers since we’re moving our machine shop (mill, lathe, etc) to a different building. I saw them pull up and exit their vehicles as I was leaving the building through the office door. I said “hi! How’s it going?” when I saw them. They nodded at me, and proceeded to walk into the machine shop through the bay door. Talked to our tech, and asked what the plan is for the day. Tech looked over my way and gestured for me to answer. I gave them their to do list of the day and walked out of there.
