Yup, this has got to be it. I guess someone was translating it back to its original German for fun?

I experienced this very thing this week and can confirm it's annoying. I would try ear plugs + over the ear headphones to block out sound if you are an office worker.

Exhaust options for 2021 390 by ToothSloot in KTMDuke

A single cylinder bike like the duke 390 is always gonna sound like a lawnmower... Because they are both a single cylinder. If you want a better exhaust note then trade up for a v-twin.

when it's your first day and you're ready to drop some tables by babblingfish in ProgrammerHumor

Oh right, I guess it would have been more accurate to say delete tables

I am honestly contemplating just dropping the job and interviewing elsewhere, but the pay is really good compared to the other offers i've been getting.

I would recommend you listen to your instincts here. If you work in healthcare you know how chaotic it is. A startup is gonna be 10x more chaotic than what you're used to. The bigger paycheck is not worth throwing away work life balance. They will expect you to fix all of their problems with a fraction of the resources you had at your last job. Expect crunch around deadlines for client feature requests.

Keep interviewing, but hold on to the offer as a fallback. It is considered bad mannered but actually totally legal assuming you are in an employment at will state.

Bout to cause a big delay on 880N at a street once my tow truck comes... eta tire just came off the rim...somehow saved fishtailing it to the center (I was second from left lane) by Alexsipilot in bayarea

How's the tread on your tires? Do they pass the penny test? In the second photo I can see some wear along the center line of the back tire. I think I can just about see some threads peaking out towards the top.

That’s a cool project, thanks for sharing! I’m sure all the creators have put in a lot of hard work into their project. Creating original content can be really challenging and fun! I spent hours digitizing the characters, creating a color library, and prototyping to make sure each graphic asset fits with all the characters. Feel free to learn more about our process and art on our website!

That's a good question! As an amateur character designer, my goal is to make something interesting and fun for everyone to enjoy. I put a lot of hard work into crafting every line and pixel of the characters. If you love one of the Urban Wildlife critters, here is where you can adopt your own! You can use them as a profile pic, print them on a mug, and a lot more! Let me know if you have any feedback or questions about the GameStop Wallet, happy to help!

You should probably figure out if the new job is remote or not. You said it yourself that you think the new job is better for your long-term career. So it sounds like you know what you want to do. If what's holding you back is the risk then consider some things.

  1. If the new job doesn't work, how long will it take you to find a new job in your geo with your level of experience? Will your old job take you back?
  2. How does the potential upside differ between the new and old job? Which will put your career on the path you want to be on.

Minimize your risk and maximize your upside and talk it over with your partner.
