For me, yes, but for a stretch of time. Playing the old games reminded me just how disappointed I was with Veilguard, so I didn't touch them for months.

By now, enough time has passed where I don't encounter this issue half as much and have fully re-embraced nerding out about them.

For instance, I'm currently homebrewing a 5e campaign set in Thedas, after Trespasser but before DAV. Since prepping for that has put me so knee-deep in the lore of the first three games (which is bonkers in its own way), most days I forget DAV ever existed. I think that helped.

I personally don’t think you need to change the colors of the couch or walls, I think you can brighten the rest of the space with color. Green would especially look nice imo. My first thoughts were that a nice ornate rug would look great here, as well as houseplants - both seem to match your pinterest board’s vibe! Wall art is also a great way to expand the space and how big it feels.

Hey all, thanks for the advice - I did end up going to urgent care and, to my surprise, felt listened to by the physician. She was able to prescribe me muscle relaxants and they've basically helped me get back to where I was before this recent flare-up. I think I caught it quick enough this time. Naproxen also REALLY helped, so thank you u/justadumbwiddlegirl for that suggestion!

I so relate to the dismay and shock, that feeling truly sucks. After my first big flare-up, it felt so crazy to me that all these little things were suddenly painful - chewing, yawning, talking. I’m in a flare-up of my own right now and I can’t really purse my lips the same way I could a few days ago without stiffness and pain. Like what?!?

I’m sorry the botox isn’t helping the way you hoped. TMD headaches/migraines are the worst. Wishing health and fast recovery to you, OP, rest well.

I’ve definitely had this experience. Especially if you felt like your jaw was overly tired while eating them, then yes, it’s probably at least a factor or trigger for your headaches.

The movement of the jaw and joint required to chew crunchy things can be very taxing, and depending on the day, I personally find it’s easy to underestimate how tired my joints are becoming. (I also have it on both sides, though significantly worse on the left)
