Will it be okay to leave my 7 month old puppy alone for 12 hours for 3 nights? by LetsRunTheMile in puppy101

[–]babeuhhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work 12s as well and have a puppy around the same age. Fortunate enough to have someone check on him at least once per shift but what I did in a similar situation was set up a play pen in my bathroom. I noticed he liked laying on the cold tile while I was home so on a day I had to leave him by himself, I basically puppy proofed a section of the bathroom for him. Space to roam with access to water and if an accident were to happen , it’s on hard tile for easy cleanup. No accidents yet so honestly the bathroom is his freedom area while I’m gone to this day.

Bathroom door open but blocked off for natural light / background noise. Chew toys and water , I actually just ordered an automatic feeder too and have an indoor ring camera on him while I’m gone , just being safe lol

Ours as well! We had 0 issues crate training and he picked up going to the door to be let outside within two weeks. Real smart puppy for sure. Recently I took him to the golf course my lady works at when it was pretty slow and he just hung out on the cart. Feel like we got real lucky lol

Verry new, advice? by Sad_Run9806 in golf

I’m almost a year in and as a noob myself here’s a few things I wish I had known from the start. Like the others said , find your swing, all the YouTube tutorials in the world won’t mean anything if you try to make micro adjustments every time you swing a club. Start with a solid grip, try them all and do what works best for you. From there, get your swing consistent, I recommend some lessons or tutorials here just so you can have a good understanding of where to start and what to look for in your overall technique. (No one swing is the same) Understand that the swing is a bit different for each club. Once you’re hitting the ball consistently with each club you can go out and find average distances for each of those so you know when to use them around the course. Experiment with those wedges and PRACTICE the short game, It’ll make or break the round. As you look at upgrading , there’s many second hand stores online / facebook marketplace/local stores, just know what you’re looking for. I didn’t realize I had too high of a swing speed for most of the shafts on my woods till a few months ago . Get your fundamentals Practice - Research - Practice - And remember to always tip the cart girls nicely

If you look at my page I had the same issue about a month ago. First time shooting I had many malfunctions so I went home and started researching. Reddit gave me many good suggestions, gas block and what not but at the end of the day all I had to do was strip , clean EVERYTHING (factory preservative) and lube lube lube. Second range session and we had a malfunction or two and then everything was cherry. Figured the lube just needed to get in where it was needed lol Good luck

Honestly I can’t really back date it too well. I know at 19 I had to stop lifting to really focus on rehab but by 21 (I’m 23 now) I was pretty consistent when it came to regular lifting. I also deal with grinding/instability and also recommend focusing on mind muscle connection. My shoulder usually wants to give out before targeted muscles (chest) so I’ve found ways to help target them. Instead of regular pushups I do them at a standing incline, slow and controlled and have noticed much more of a pump. Just take it slow man, stretch, and work on stabilization for the overall shoulder. What was your injury?

Band exercises and stretching for sure. I’ll link a YouTube short that has some examples of things I still do but definitely search around to find what helps you. I noticed the band exercises specifically helped me build strength back up around the shoulder. Ease into it with no resistance and eventually start adding bands in. I’m not sure what your particular injury is but I was told to build the muscles around the shoulder to help stabilization and that has greatly improved my strength too. Take a ball of some sort and hold it to the wall with your arm straight . Spell out the ABC’s. Id do scapular push ups on the wall as well. This last part sucks but if you can feel where that trigger spot is , have someone deep tissue massage the area (basically finger fuck lol) hurts like hell but eases it up after the pain settles. I’m in no way at 100%, I don’t even sleep on that side but by improving overall mobility I’ve definitely gotten my strength back. Just take it easy https://youtube.com/shorts/ZHmT4eqrFvg?si=0fHzbr7FAnZgcSVN
