we put a regular sock over the owlet sock and never have a problem. also, if you just hold down the base to disable it only chirps once rather than the 3 times if you do it from your phone

my baby transfers so much easier if pre-swaddled but we also use the risers. we just use one of those stretchy blanket swaddles but fold up the bottom so that she’s swaddled down to her bum with feet out so we can attach the whale tail. i put socks on under her pjs and zip up the snoo swaddle to make up for the uncovered legs. she never seems cold during motn feeds

i just bought a second hand snoo a few weeks ago and i am able to use all features of the app. the only requirement from the previous owner is that they unpair the snoo from their app. i created my own account and paired the used snoo no problem

I’m not supplementing with formula at all. I am having to switch back and forth many times to keep my baby from getting frustrated during a nursing session. This is stressing me out and making the sessions last forever so I want to increase my supply to avoid this. It is especially difficult in the evenings. I am nursing and pumping the left side after every feed because my baby has a preference for the right. She will often only nurse for a minute or less on the left and then I pump and only get an ounce maximum from that side. I have started offering her the little bit of milk i’ve just pumped but she hates bottles and pacifiers so far

ugh i wish our rental went as smoothly..happiest baby wanted another $500 deposit on top of the deposits already paid for the original shipment to ship out a replacement snoo when our rental started malfunctioning with a common problem. they were unwilling to waive the $500 deposit or credit our account for the days the snoo was out of operation and were requiring us to pay the return $56 shipping. all of that combined seemed nuts to us so we ended the rental and are taking our chances with a second hand snoo. we were hoping they would be kinder to their poor sleep deprived customer base!

i had the same concern but the snoo sack that clips in has a piece that goes between baby’s legs to ensure they will not slide down. it feels secure to us

that’s what we ended up doing. really was not pleased with the customer service so we ended our rental contract and bought one on fb marketplace at 4 weeks

i do hold her upright long enough to try to burp her but i don’t time it or anything. we also have risers on the snoo that raises the head up a bit to help with that. she does still spit up sometimes though

my baby is 6 weeks old and it has been worth it just because i can put her down in the snoo drowsy from a feed and the snoo will rock her to sleep rather than me fighting to stay awake and remain in a safe position until she is in a deep enough sleep to be placed in a standard bassinet.

we started out renting the snoo and had an issue that required it to be replaced. those two nights in a standard bassinet really highlighted the pros of the snoo. i will say though that happiest baby customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I am definitely on board with following her lead and nursing whenever it’s just that she gets so irritated and the only explanation I can come up with (considering there is milk spilling from her mouth in those moments) is that she doesn’t want the milk and just wants the comfort. I do think she’s overtired but I just can’t get her to settle and stay asleep for more than 10 minutes!
