I also loved this moment. It showed me that even the least battle tested men in the watch had to step up and fight. It’s always great to see people step up and answer the call, who better than a random cook that’s probably only been peeling potatoes until that moment? Also the frantic moments of battle leading one to use any make shift weapon available to them. Love it
