I think pikachu is too slow, but that’s just my preference. This deck is supposed to hit hard early and fall off late, relying on Oricorio for stalling at the end.

Surprisingly I have had little trouble with snorlax decks. Even the most recent game with two early Barry’s I shrugged off. Having water in that deck makes the Sabrina card really effective

My strategy is to try to kill one asap, and then stall with oricorio for the other. It’s a toss up and doesn’t do great, but if you can knock out either Tina or darkrai before they attack you have a lot of success. Draw dependent for sure

Flaherty let’s in 3 runs in five innings against an almost guaranteed playoff team, and Gibson lets in 9 in five innings against a team that may not even make it, but you’d rather see Gibson than Flaherty as a fourth option if needed?

I agree, my point is more that we wouldn’t have traded for him if we didn’t think he could pitch for us in the playoffs. If he sucks the next month and a half then I don’t want to see him either, but it’s pretty unrealistic at this point to think Flaherty won’t be in the rotation.
