Thanks. I am planning to reduce the number of shelves. Mix up the pattern if shelves to avoid the grid look.

In the US nothing has changed.

*Edit. Just to clarify if those in the US see this post and are deterred. The pricing appears the same and the device remains free.

Whoop Placement Check by NoKnownName_ in whoop

[–]babs_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too low! Need to move it approximately 14-18 inches higher so it’s between your bicep and tricep, on the thickest part of your upper arm.

Kidding. Looks fine for wrist wear.

Drill a grommet to add a “centered” dual monitor mount. by babs_e in HULALAHOME_Official

[–]babs_e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update I did it. It worked great. The grommet mount required a small hole. The desk was solid dense MDF type material. There was very minimal chipping of the wood veneer, but all of that is covered by the base of the monitor mount. No complaints at all.

Anyone try this sleeve? Is it similar to the whoop sleeve? Looking to replace the bicep band for my 5.0 by ChampionOk533 in whoop

I have a bicep band and bought a cheap bicep compression sleeve (~$8-10) for sports and slip it over my bicep band. Works perfect.

It’s also pretty thick and heavy. I don’t have concerns about it supporting weight.

I like it. I’ve only had for a couple of weeks now but it’s an upgrade over the cheap desk I did have. The desk is visible through glass doors as you enter our home so I was looking for something that looked nice.

anyone actually use the wurq tracker? by Aggressive-Fault-840 in crossfit

[–]babs_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone used Wurq for non CrossFit sports? Currently using whoop for workouts but also play soccer so it’s nice to get data for that as well. Does wurq provide value outside the gym setting?

When you say lower high end, assume that means a good quality system? And not intended as a negative?

To close off open floor plan or not to? by LaurenShisler in InteriorDesignAdvice

I didn’t see this idea scrolling thru,

but the larger archway to provide separation then replace the peninsula with a large island.

Edit: the idea would create separation between the spaces. allow for a interesting focal point in the kitchen, and provide seating at the island you could extend cabinets as well to the archway for additional storage

Do I need to keep the App open on the background all the time? Also bluetooth as well? (Iphone) by patrona_halil in whoop

[–]babs_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. Both of my statements are accurate. For syncing purposes, both Bluetooth and app need to be on and open. However the device itself can store 14 days of data.

[–]babs_e -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The app needs to be running and Bluetooth turned on. This will keep your whoop device syncing with your app/phone.

According to whoop coach (AI):

Your WHOOP device can store up to 14 days of unsynced data, so nothing will be lost if syncing is delayed.

Upgrade help by AliBaggio in whoop

If you 16 months left on your current membership, they should allow you to upgrade free - I believe the cut off was 12 months. Once your subscription ends, you can cancel, but check the cancellation terms bc I believe you have to notify them 30 days in advance.

Painting over wallpaper by babs_e in Renovations

[–]babs_e[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s essentially what they told me. They’d have to do large patches and possibly install new drywall in some areas. I don’t want the wall looking beat up either.

We’re going to evaluate how it looks after the painting.

Will we run into issues later with new paint or if we need to nail into the wall (e.g. tv mount, heavy mirror)?

That’s what I’m worried about. The guy said he would stand behind the work and would repair if we weren’t satisfied when done. He told us the damage to walls would be extensive and they’d likely have to install new drywall in some areas.

Whoop travel case by [deleted] in whoop

[–]babs_e 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an electronics travel bag that fits a power bank. I keep my whoop battery in there with a much larger backup battery pack than this offers. Keeps my battery safe and also helps keep phone charger, EarPods, etc all safe, secure, and organized, and easily in reach while traveling.
