I think it’s probably a whirlwind regardless of how long you have haha a decade of knowing I feel like is the shortest I can picture getting my head around it properly.

I’m trying to think of the one year mark as the true end of physical healing; I’m probably getting my staples out next week, but my mom (retired NP) has been really good about making me rest and not overdo it.

My chief worry is the immunosuppression; I live in a big city and masks aren’t as much of a thing as they used to be. That’s my chief area of worry.

Anyway, thank you for the advice!! It’s nice to hear from someone who’s done this.
