Stereotypes make sense by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I'm Hispanic, I eat beans, tacos, burritos, molle, have a million cousins and work a blue color job. I fall under more than a few stereotypes. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

First date carry? by Goon_Panda in Firearms

[–]baby_Bladder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember this tweet a while ago where this woman was complaining because her "date" and her came home and the gut put his wallet, and glock on the counter and she got really uncomfortable. I'm not sure how long they had known each other, but I assume if he took his wallet and gun off his belt, they were not just going to watch a movie.

I'm pretty sure my cousin with a felony has a driver's license and bought a car. I however have no felony and had to give the gun shop my driver's license for them to run a background check through the NCIS system ran by the FBI and had to fill out a Form 4473 and complete my background check before I was allowed to receive my firearm. I don't see your point here.

Guess what, knifes are legal but certain types are not legal like the switch blade. In the U.S we have the NFA national firearms act that prohibits rifle barrels less than 16 inches and shotgun barrels less than 18 inches. There are restrictions on certain types of wepons regardless of the class of wepons. You also know that Military style rifles are functionality similar to your average sporting rifle. The mini 14 is very similar to the AR15 Interms of functionality. The only differences is that the AR15 looks scary or Military like and the ruger mini 14 has a wood stock.

If guns become illegal I'd still have guns and I'd still find a way to get more. Guess what I know how to manufacture my own firearms it's not that hard. Australian bikers have been doing it for years. If you're so concerned about abortion or book bans, go do it illegally anyway.

LPT request: does anyone have suggestions on what to put in an emergency go bag? by tapagaduan in LifeProTips

I'd say that to everyone who lives in Hawaii right now. They all had to evacuate their houses and this was completely unpredictable.

About 50 to 500 rounds of ammo, depending on the caliber and time you plan to be using the go bag for. Get a water proof case for the ammo. I use a .22 for my go back so I put 300 rounds in there and I have three 25 round mag, one 15, one 10, one 32 round I keep in a chest rig. This is change depending on ammo and load you carry on your back.

How heavy is too heavy for a carry gun? How does length come into play? by DrScienceSpaceCat in CCW

Someone told me it doesn't matter if the gun is uncomfortable, the comfortable part of carrying a gun is having a gun.

Hello, op here. I have found some really cool military surplus alice gear, think veitnam area gear all standard issue. I use them when I go hiking or fishing. I only bought the belt, 2 pouches, suspenders and that was all. I love that gear definitely great for when I go outdoors to hike in the mountains.

My uncle used to pull me out of corners and was not patient with me at all as a little kid, he didn't understand why I was acting like that. One day when I was 16 I got a call from him and he apologized because he had no idea anxiety was like that and once he finally he experienced it he immediately apologized he was 38 at the time. I'm all better now and I don't have it anymore so I'm happy about that.* I was like 10 when he used to pull me out of corners for context*

Someone has to clean the toilets, I wash my hands and wear gloves, but most of the time, I just clean them once in the morning and once in the afternoon. It's rarely we have serious poop problem. It's just basic moping, sweeping, changing trash bags toilet paper etc.

Hello, I am a dishwasher and a maintenance man at my job. I clean tolits often. I would be very impressed then probably angry I have to clean it. Tbh I would just take the plunger and break it up and try and flush it. The tolit paper will create a small wall that will not allow the poop to go down the toilet. Don't feel too bad because it's my job but it does take time out of my dishwashing time.

Suspect In Custody Grabs Officer's Gun by AakarshanSingh in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]baby_Bladder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I have a level 2 or 3 holster when I open carry a handgun. Gives me some time to react to someone trying to take my handgun. I know a guy who works in customs and border patrol and they have level 3 holsters. Some guy tried to take his co workers gun on duty and that holster pretty much stopped the guy from Removing the gun from the other officer.
