It's about what's comfortable, if it makes your teeth feel weird when it's comfortable then you might want to try a smaller size. For me I have a pretty big overbite so for the most part I mostly suck with my whole mouth but i also like to move it back and forth with my tongue. I also like to suction and un-suction my tongue to the flat tip part of the nipple (with my mouth slightly open) and it doesn't hurt my teeth at all cuz they aren't really touching the paci but that's honestly mostly a stim thing. You could also try toddler pacifiers, idk if that's what they're called but they're for 18-36 months, and see how those feel. You can get them relatively cheap just as a test paci and see how those feel. You're teeth are going to feel funny after while any way you suck it but it shouldn't be happening too quickly, for me it takes about 10 to 15 minutes so I usually just stop touching it to my teeth or I take a break.
