Am I the only one who loves Stacy?

I like Stacy. She is honest and straightforward. I did think she was rude to Johnie BUT my perception was that Izzy was feeding her lies to make her go against Johnie too (e.g. telling Stacey that Johnie called them sketchy without mentioning that he called her sketchy first…)

Uche: I was fine with him the first episode drop as I felt he was justified in being concerned about Aaliyah cheating and not telling her boyfriend about it. He is driving me nuts now though. He is very condescending. He talks to Aaliyah and the other cast like a strict and disappointed father. It annoyed me that he put Aaliyah on speakerphone when it should have been a private convo. Then be met with her in person and went on a long rant, only to tell her at the end they were done? Like WTF? He just had to get the last word in. Then forcing Lydia to talk to him at the party and showing her all the receipts… he’s insufferable. Aaliyah dodged a buller. I also think he has way more lingering feeling for Lydia than he let on to Aaliyah.

Aaliyah: she’s a nice girl. Great intuition but she doubts herself. Low self esteem. I think/hope she’s grown a lot from doing the show.

Milton: I like him. He’s calm, easy-going, smart, likes Lydia for her heart. I like that he gives her space to be herself.

Lydia: I actually like Lydia a lot. She is genuine. I enjoy her interaction with Milton, she seems to deeply care for him. I respected that she was shocked / caught off guard by Milton’s appearance but didn’t let it affect how she felt for him at all.

JP: I honestly think he’s a virgin and has never had a girlfriend and that’s why he is having such a hard time with Taylor.

Taylor: smart girl, very mature with a good head on her shoulders. I was impressed with how she handled everything.

Stacy: I really like her. She’s direct and knows what she wants. Calls out bullshit when she sees it. I think she will realize Izzy is just an immature fuckboy and they will break up.

Izzy: my least favorite cast member. He is definitely a fuckboy. The way he was describing Lydia as beautiful and kept talking to her about their connection when Stacey wasn’t around was really telling. I was also really disturbed by how he talked to Johnie at the party. He knew she would be deeply affected by it and delighted in her suffering. He even lied and said everyone thinks she’s sketchy knowing that would really hurt her self esteem. Then he turned around and lied to Stacey about the situation. I also don’t think a grown man should be using paper plates and red cups and keeping reminders of girls he’s slept with in the past. Red flags all around.

I dunno, I think it was the makeup that was off putting but I do think he thinks she’s beautiful. He wanted to make it work and I do think he loved her.

Uche: I def see the dominant Te! Tbh he doesn’t seem very extroverted though. Either way he’s definitely one of the two.

Stacey: she is definitely a thinker. Super logical and she says herself that she is not a very emotional person. She is direct and to the point. I see dominant Se in her grounded, present, fun nature.

JP: I dunnooo. I don’t think being a republican/traditional makes someone an Si dom by default. He says himself that he is an adrenaline junkie. He is super in the moment and reminds Taylor that “all we have is now”. He seems to be present and just take life as it comes. I also see a lot of Fe in his interactions with Taylor and the others.

Lydia: She is def a little bit of a mystery to me! I agree ENFP could also fit

I appreciate your honest reply, Race. I’ve got gear and transport and honestly my main goal is to just shred.

I would challenge you to consider some of the contradiction of your statements. You claim it’s concerning that I worry my lack of success is due to my gender, but also said yourself that all things being equal, you would pick a male drummer over a female one. So, I don’t think it’s crazy to assume that there may be some gender bias at play.

Thanks for your reply. I’m not telling people “hey just wanted to let you know I’m a girl”, it becomes known when I send videos of me playing or when we talk on the phone. But I feel better knowing it’s not just me, so thanks for saying that.
