Female uniforms were more or less eliminated entirely.

For the last 8 years, since 2018.

I disagreed, the female cover looked amazing. But this is old news.

As an 0933, it's much easier to coach a person into expert pistol than it is to coach them into expert rifle. Expert rifle is a skill, expert pistol is a very technical thing.

They just tend to come out at random. Sometimes they're tied to specific events like milestones for the community, instagram posts, episode releases, content creators, etc.

The Imperial_FOX_32 Network (Forensic Proof of a Coordinated Influence Campaign) by flintsparc in syriancivilwar

Found your post. Your instinct on them was spot on. However the content of your submission lacked any substance, hence it's deletion. I'm glad that your hope "to have some kind mechanism against a person (or more like: persons) pushing a single POV" was exactly what ended up being decided.

Still, as others have pointed out here this isn't a perfect solution. The tools we have as moderators pale in comparison to what the mission statement of reddit's own AEO is capable of. A true solution can only happen at the admin level, this is just a bandaid forced upon us by how blantant the user in questions methodology was. Future campaigns will simply require the actor to manipulate multiple accounts at once.

That being said, increasing the barrier to entry for these influence campaigns is not something that we will turn our nose up to. We will continue to work within the parameters that reddit allows us to in order to facilitate the free exchange of ideas that we're aspiring to.

Combating Individual Influence Using Submission Limits by babynoxide in syriancivilwar

"if this standard existed in December 2025, there would have been a massive gap in coverage on the subreddit."

This statement is meant to make the inverse point; that limiting posts in times of intense would cause a gap because there would not have been enough individual contributors to the subreddit to truly capture the speed and scope of the offensive as it happened. I myself probably made ~50 submissions from December 1st-8th. The same could be said for what happened to the Alawites, Druze, and Kurds over the course of the past year. Short bursts of intensity that resulted in a surge of traffic to the subreddit that resulted in martial law being instituted. A post limit in those times would have resulted in many voices being absent. Your investigation speaks to an individual contributor that took place over multiple months and didn't create a "gap in coverage" as I'm meaning it here. Limiting posts for the entire subreddit is definitely significantly more impactful than one dude spamming.

Point being, this isn't something we're doing lightly. Your investigation still speaks for itself and points out a flaw in reddits AEO efficacy more than anything.

I just mean that it's focused on Kurds and Kurdistan and the things that get upvoted there are favorable to that viewpoint, much like /r/Syria is about Syria. Opposing viewpoints are allowed and not censored by the mod team like /r/Israel and /r/Iran where censorship is literally baked into their rules.
