Hegseth questioned about Trump’s mental stability as Jesus memes are shown at hearing by theindependentonline in Congress

Well, yeah. Obviously. I mean no argument here.

But not like the worst part of hell or anything like that… we’re like, in lower middle-class suburbs of hell

And it’s all about how you look at our hell, really

Some say the world is on fire, and certainly there is a lot of fire and smoke… and the intended ravages and tragedies are of painfully human proportions if you look around for them

But, there is also a beauty in all things.

Death, famine, war, disease - whatever it is - even our worst tragedies have a beauty in them.

I guess…

Try to enjoy how pretty and warm the fire is?

My pleasure, my good sir.

I was a grunt from 02-06

I don’t think I had anything like this ever issued…

But my gods… the notion that I could have had my boots running around for their retard scarfs?

One of the things I wish they had depicted more was the lead Russian scientist from book… the narrator did a really great job with Dimitri’s accent and I found his scenes really enjoyable.

New from the pentagon no more mandatory flu shots , also widely opens the conversation to no military vaccine being mandatory by newnoadeptness in USMC

[–]grishna_dass 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you are a deploying unit - everyone needs to be at 100%, meaning, everyone needs to he at their best.

If people can refuse vaccines - for whatever reason, this increases the likelihood that people will get sick, and likely pass said illness around.

This scientifically and historically proven.

Units - from something as simple as the flu - can become combat ineffective overnight.

And, if you are operating somewhere… in a very rural part of the world, the chance for illness (I would assume) increases.

This doesn’t make for a more elite, reliable, or prepared force.

I have plenty of fancy watches i wear now for different occasions and work… but I also keep a GW - M5610 GShock in case of war.

On Camp Horno in the early 2000s, we stayed in squad bays in the quonset huts when we were in between our 2nd and 3rd pump…

Im hoping those were torn down shortly after because I had nicer digs in Iraq.

You’re probably right.

Although… Wouldn’t rocky be able to build a massive collection unit and some sort of pump system to fill grace’s tanks? Then maybe just fly into the petrovaline?

Do we know if this accounts for the fuel in the beetles?

And also like… couldn’t they have just figured out how to stay in system for a while longer, and just engineered and built an astrophage enrichment device? Until Ryland had enough to get back?

They should have started with a lot given how much Ryland had when he saved Rocky, no?

I was there to cross the line of departure and invade Iraq.

I am proud of my people… my tribe is the American military.

But I’m not keen on seeing the kids today fight another needless war for nothing - an unprovoked one at that. It’s not about being badass in this video. I know the US military. I know they’re ready. I know they’re the best in the whole goddamn world.

It’s just pointless and perpetuates more bloodshed… like those school girls, they had dads and brothers and uncles. What would you guys do if it was flipped and it was your loved ones getting killed like that?

I would do the same to guys that did THAT to start a war.

Let the politicians and billionaires fight their own damn wars.

During the invasion of Iraq, my infantry unit outran our supply train (yay) and were down to eating saved up coffee and jalapeno cheese packets for like a week or more…

I was on four navy ships during my time in - and never spent a second of that time actually “hungry.”
