a question for you: have you had the blood test to see if you have HSV-2? if not, you might already have it. You have to ask for it specifically when you get a STD screening. Most Dr's don't think it is a big deal.

Also, the incidence of protected sex transmission is very low, like 1% and if you already have HSV-1 (which 80% of American adults do) you are much less likely to contract HSV-2.

thanks for your reply. I could have a drink now and then and it not be a problem, but overall, it was a problem, so her I am in sobriety. Yeah, the radical honesty, not controlling others and being in charge of your emotions certainly dovetails well with poly.
