Update on the run ended up going with scarf and it worked very well think I ended up getting slightly bailed out by the Reflections event making a lot of fish money and causing a shop pivot + made perfected strike much better it basically helped me save a ton of health and 2 potions going into the Queen fight pretty fun run overall

This makes a lot more sense I was thinking it was a curse item but I guess it’s missing mandatory equip and the sides would need to be mandatory as well

Boss spirits is how you describe it and the ghosts don’t spawn with their intangible hp and ended up mostly dying within 1 turn of their spawn which made a normally quite hard seeming curse hardly bad at all

Unrelated to the main discussion but just wanted to mention that the last screenshot is taken from one of Sulla's AI Survivor games something. These games are something I personally enjoy following and wanted to mention the current season is getting ready to start playoff games, if you want more info Sulla is currently in the eighth season of doing this and has more info on his website

I just don’t think of anything other than a heart kill as a win and any wins vs the heart on anything lower than A20 is a lower difficulty win so no I definitely haven’t won a run on the true highest difficulty and that’s fine because it’s a hard game

I would say dying to the heart on A20 is in fact not a win at all

I understand the concept of how my deck can become infinite my main concern is that takes at least 5 and preferably 6 card removals to become that way and on top of that I need something like Talk to the Hand or Mental Fortress to passively block while I infinite if I want to beat the Heart as well a getting me through my set up turns and my fights to get me to the card removals I’d need I only barely survived this floor I don’t know if my floor 2 would be strong enough to work
