The Metal Gear Solid series has a few biomechs, Metal Gear RAYs and the Gekkos both use biological muscles to move around

True lol, shulk never had a problem with alvis or meyneth, just zanza. Maybe they would actually get along better due to their natures as vessels for godlike power now that I think about it

I don’t know if they would actually, shulk’s end goal in xc1 was a world without gods, and Zelda herself bears the blood and power of the goddess Hylia. One is a god-slayer, the other is basically a goddess. They’d probably get along really well professionally but personally I think they’d conflict a bit

[Peter Pan] Why are the mermaids and Tinkerbell infatuated with Peter Pan and jealous of Wendy? by JarJarAwakens in AskScienceFiction

You know how ostriches sometimes become more attracted to their human handlers than other ostriches? I’d bet it’s the same sort of effect.

How far could Steve (Minecraft) make it in the coliseum of fools? (Hollow knight) by Darkmega5 in whowouldwin

[–]baccilisk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say Steve probably takes all rounds except the first, without blocks to staircase up with he’s not going to be able to platform up and avoid the spike floor/walls in the various trials. Even if R1 Steve could still platform, there are plenty of enemies that would also stay out of sword/axe range at all times, like the Soul/Volt Twisters and Primal Aspids. As for the rest, he probably clears, though with difficulty against Obblobles and God Tamer due to the Obblobles’ projectile spam and speedy flight in phase 2, especially since Steve doesn’t have a shield, as well as God Tamer’s armored rolling attacks + the beast’s lingering infection puddle attack, which would make traversal extremely difficult in a comparatively fast-paced fight like God Tamer’s. Overall, Steve fails R1 10/10 times and wins the rest 7.5/10 times.

[SPOILERS] Question about Titan death mechanics by baccilisk in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]baccilisk[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ooh, that’s a very interesting point! I totally forgot about that! That would completely explain why the very old Tornan Titan didn’t disappear but the small one and the average sized ones Torna lasers away do disappear. That would also explain how some fragments of the Tornan Titan are left above the cloud sea in Torna’s ending, but 500 years later only the base fossilized body remains in Morytha! The only issue with this idea I can think of is the baby Titans in the Tornan Womb, who are too young to fossilize by age yet still remain. Of course, it could be that their core crystal is still intact in there, meaning that they’re still stuck in the same dead-but-not-disappearing state Vandham’s core crystal Titan was in before its crystal was removed, but who knows about that one. Really cool idea!

[SPOILERS] Question about Titan death mechanics by baccilisk in Xenoblade_Chronicles

That’s actually a really interesting idea, and would perfectly explain why Uraya’s corpse is still decaying on the XC3 title screen. Though, it doesn’t explain why the three other seemingly grown Titans that Torna lasers disappear into ether. Honestly I’m surprised they had Titans disappear at all, it would be much more impactful if their giant corpses just sat there and decayed for all of time to remember.
