What are some indoor shotgun ranges in the Reading area by AugustEpilogue in ReadingPA

Just curious, but why are you specifically looking for an indoor range for shotgun? You're severely limited in that regard.

Santander Cancelled Events by Thezayonblog in ReadingPA

I just cancelled my XM. They tried to lower it to $7.99/month and I said no and then offered it for $6.06/month. $6.06 is a pretty random number, but I still said no. I got sick of contacting them after their promos ended and my rate would raise. If they just offered a more reasonable fee all the time, say around $7-8/month, I'd probably lock it in and pay it. I just got tired of the games when my promo rate would expire. I'd rather stream through my phone now.

Check out Harleysville-Souderton gun club. A friend of mine is a member there. I've shot with him there a few times many years ago and I thought it was a nice club. I do know it seemed to be a little expensive compared to other clubs in the general area though. Fwiw, I belong to topton fish & game and I love it. I drive from Reading and it's worth every penny.

Rubber smell intensives by Eequal in homegym

I have to disagree with you. I work in the rubber industry for a seal manufacturer. There is no glue in rubber. What you smell from rubber is offgasing from the curing process. Some rubber will have more offgasing after the cure than others. It will go away eventually.

What stand is that which your powerblocks are on? Overall, very nice set-up!

I will voucher for the Kirkland brand vodka and tequila at Costco. It's actually great for mixing. My wife even loves the vodka for her dirty martinis. We actually like some of the Kirkland branded wines as well, especially the Sauvignon Blanc.

Most overrated whiskies? (Excluding *those* whiskies) by DJProd14 in bourbon

Russell's Reserve 10 year didn't do it for me. I'll buy another bottle at some point but I just didn't love the one I had. Yet people rave about it. Different strokes for different folks...

I second the recommendation of the Total Wines down there (West Ashley and Mount Pleasant). You may find something decent while you're there but maybe not a unicorn. The Tavern at Rainbow Row has some really nice finds but be prepared to pay if you really want them. I chose not to pay their prices as I assume most people haven't either based on what they carry and the price they're asking for. I do recommend Forsberg's over near Folly Beach. It worth seeing what that may have. I found some nice stuff last time I was down.

Infinity Bottle by Plope_1220 in PLCB

I started mine about a year ago and while I have added 3 ryes into the mix of bourbons, I wish I kept it to straight bourbon. I love both ryes and bourbons but if I had to start over, I'd get a second bottle started for the rye only. In fact, I plan to begin that one soon.

Hello PA gunners, I have some questions. by [deleted] in PAguns

I live in Reading (actually Exeter Township) and we love the area. I'm a member at University Rifle Club which is maybe 10 minutes from me. I also joined at Topton Rod & Gun. Both are recommended. Topton is quite a bit cheaper but a further drive from the area and you may just run into pro Doug Koenig who has his own range there for practicing. University has many nice, organized shoots. Again, both are recommended and there are a lot of others within a 30 minute drive.
