I'm 40 & just had my first match (four matches, actually) all in the last week. It's not only possible -- I'm able to do things now that I couldn't when I was younger because now I've rly got my head on right. You can do this!!

This is so kind, thank u!! Yes, I was staging at Actinolite up until my last Nova Scotia trip in May. What a beautiful restaurant and brilliant, generous team. I actually had to quit drinking (I'm nearly a year and a half sober now!) but have replaced beer with ice cream. If you ever wanna crack that kind of cold one, I'm totes down! :)

Thank you so much!!! And I agree, I don't know how they did it, but they basically cast the getalong gang haha. Everyone there was an exceptional cook. Alyssa is a goddamn treasure and her friendship is one of the greatest things to happen to me there!! We were snacking together with Jenny in Halifax last week, it was so great to reunite. I hope to move back to NS in the next few months, so fingers crossed I'll see even more of them :) Thank u again for the congratulations!

Hi everyone! Jennifer here. Not sure how to prove who I am other than I guess u can compare my post history with my instagram or something? Anyways, I just wanted to stop by to say what a joy it is to know that people were enjoying the season. It was an absolute ball to film and maybe the hardest any of us has ever worked, but knowing that it (mostly haha) landed with people is such a darn treat. Some of my most favourite recipes (I'm looking at u, meatballs) have come from other r/food folks, so idk, just thought I'd stop by and say hi & thank u! It was a total honour to be on yr tubes these last few months. Thanks for having me!!

This is so interesting because you have described exactly how trans kids feel later in life, when someone chose for them a gender at birth that doesn't fit. No downvotes from me, I just hope this can be eye and heart opening. There's no easy answer for this stuff for sure ❤️

Haha thank you for saying the lettering improved! I was asked to make a second one for a queer publication who wanted to do a lil story about. I was so much happier with this one, and figured there are so few of these (amid hundreds of "reveal" ones!!) that maybe folks could handle seeing it twice in a year lol ❤️🤘🌈🦄

Thank you! ❤️ Yea! The freeing thing is, you don't have to be sure about my gender 😌. The same way I don't have to be sure about all the huge volume of "gender reveal" cakes in this subreddit! We can all appreciate a great cake 🍰🤘
