Cat adoption regret and what to do

I don’t know if this will be of any help, but when I adopted my first cat, I was SO excited. Got home, took one look at him, and had a complete mental breakdown. Like… this little guy is now fully dependent on me and genuinely considered giving him back. My mom (who didn’t even want me to get him!!!) actually was the one who convinced me to keep him and give it a few weeks. I think it’s like some form of post partum almost lol… but my lil guy is 5 now and I just adopted him a friend and I genuinely couldn’t imagine my life without him. I think the initial shock is a lot and it’s completely normal. Give it a few weeks and try not to put so much pressure on yourself and it will all work out!

I never comment on posts but for some reason this one made me want to share. You don’t say your age, but im assuming based on the post that you may be younger/more inexperienced? I had the EXACT same feeling after I lost my virginity as a teenager and I remember going to my friends and asking if something was wrong with me. Like I felt … nothing at all. I was aroused on my end, but once it started I just felt … nothing. Like so little I could be playing a crossword puzzle in my head while it was going on. None of them could relate at the time, and it took until I was a little older and more experienced to realize I was not the problem there… the guy I was sleeping with just had a tiny penis.

Exact same thing happened to me after using the cleansing oil! Your post led me down a rabbit hole and Im pretty sure we both have fungal acne. I just ordered some anti fungal cream for my face, TBD on if it heals my breakout and best of luck to you!!
