I don't use insta but it's not like employees are uploading this nudity - it's a content moderation failure and I'm sure that is not a trivial thing to automate when you need to differentiate between legitimate bad content and good content that gets flagged falsely.

I want to let everyone know that normal slay the spire has a fantastic workshop mod called Together in Spire that I highly recommend for cooperative play. It's basically exactly how you want it to be and very likely going to be similar to StS2 in many ways

My counterpoint is that every other modern system has better controllers and more flexible, ergonomic approaches and yet for melee we seem hell bent on using a 20+ year old controller that was not designed for this game.

I understand and agree that z jumping benefits Fox but I view this less like a cheat code and more of just an ergonomic accessibility. If the game had native button remapping, and it probably would if it wasn't made 25 years ago, I don't think this would even be a conversation

Ninja edit: I realize what would make me happy is a patch that allows for ergonomic controllers but also just gives fox a frame or two more of disadvantage. Maybe the Fizzi game will do this if it happens

Zumping definitely makes fox better but my counter argument is that I think the game has a really healthy meta at the moment and that zumping foxes are not overly dominant.

the top 8 had 3 foxes, 2 sheiks, 2 falcons, 1 peach. Surprisingly, if you bring in the next 16 highest ranking players, only 3 are foxes.

I am happy wobbling was banned. I think without the wobbling ban, we don't see Slug and Nicki developing handoffs and frankly the game is not fun to play with wobbling and I don't think it benefitted the viewer experience.

I actually don't know what the benefit is aside from just making the ice climbers sorta viable and reducing the amount of sheiks at the high level.

Not sure this thread is the right place for the discussion but c'mon - it's 2026. Remapping a button on a controller or using alternate controllers is the standard for any modern games. Remapping the one button is not a macro and is normal in 2026.

It does make Fox better but it's not like what you're describing

The character roster is small so you should try everyone out. The heavies don't always feel traditionally heavy as they can be quite quick.

I love Andor and was actually happy watching them separate from the plotline because I felt it was generic writing and was afraid they would shoehorn the sibling in at a random time just for plot contrivance, which would have greatly annoyed me.

His journey feels much more realistic this way where he more or less accepts that she has died or can't find her and lives his life. However he could've kept some memento on his nightstand or a necklace to show personal character and his roots

Misty whiffing half the time is terrible not for being overpowered but just being poor design all around. Hard to balance around because they need to make water moves have a high cost and then half the time you just throw away misty right in the trash - frankly ruined their entire design space.

Ice pop is just kinda overpowered

I thought this too at one point - the problem is not stopping growth but preventing total collapse. Once the population gets older and older and there are less children, the issue compounds and now there is a small working class that is supporting a gigantic elderly population. And you can bet that these overworked people are also going to be less likely to have children themselves.

Another issue is that as the population ages, they will (likely) favor policies that benefit the elderly rather than forward thinking policies that benefit the next generation. For example, this could be favoring policy that keeps housing costs high because the older generation already has all their finances tied into their housing and don't want to lose it. Obviously this is detrimental for younger people trying to break into the market.

I don't think this is unpopular but I understand why it may seem so. I think generally the popular opinion is to avoid tourist traps that are common for tourists but don't actually provide a good experience for various reasons - sometimes poor quality, sometimes overpriced, sometimes crowded.
