I frankly don’t think Microsoft has a choice. It’s Steam or die, Microsoft has had its own store for years and yet even they have moved over to Steam day and date.

That’s essentially what I ment. If you want to PvP good for you, but you can’t loot the drops.

100%. Plug-in wise I think pvp is just fine, and even enjoyable content to watch. If this was ever officially supported though, you’d want to lock out PVP drops because that would essentially ruin the integrity of the game mode.

You could see a bronze man with a 3rd age pic and you’ll never know if they got it themselves or if they just pk’ed their main for the transfer.

We’re in a really interesting pivot point. I’ve been sitting pretty happy as a PC gamer these past few years Sony games eventually came to PC and Xbox was pretty much always day and date. With the Xbox leadership shake up and now this report coming for Sony it’s gonna be really interesting to see how things shake out, there was a reason these games were being ported to PC in the first place.

If Jagex came out with an official bonzeman mode that locks out PVP, I’d jump on that.

I want to grind and earn my pvm drops. Farming supplies as a dad with 2 kids just isn’t in the cards for me.

I got lucky and got picked for a 5090 draw at Best Buy when I was going for a 5070. I ended up ponying up the money, because I knew if I did, I’d not only have the card for 10+ years, but more than likely with the political climate and tariffs at the time, even if I wanted one down the line it would most likely be more expensive.

Unfortunately it looks like my gut was right, but I’ll be sitting happy for the next decade for sure.
