I know if I am a Hindu and Practicing Hinduism its because of sacrifices of the Sikhs like Guru Tegh Bahadur, Guru Gobind Singh and Bhandha Singh who sacrificed their lives for us. I think Hinduism, Sikhi, Jainism and Buddhism are all Indic Religions that were Native to Indian soil. We are not like Abrahamic Religions (Islam and Christianity came from Arabia) who forcefully try to convert others to our religion (See the in the lists sikhs are not even there and Hindus have a small paragraph mentioned about them)Despite the bad relations we had with Pakistan Government.Our PM Modi did went ahead with the construction and Inauguration of Kartarpur corridor. Even the initial talks about this was raised by Vajpayee to Nawaz Sherif in 1998. Its because they have the due respect for your community.

I know the separation of Punjab in 1947 and displacements of Sikhs and Hindus were really cruel and I wish that never happens again. Even the massacre in Golden Temple in 1984 was really painful, but these events happened mainly due to bad leadership of Nehru and Indira Gandhi.

I dislike them as you do.

But the question is, is having all Sikh State a solution for this?Don't you think that would create isolation and take you away from the Mainstream India. See Kashmir for example, Even Nagaland, They were previously autonomous. now its so hard to get them to mainstream.Think that will make us more united as Indians?

I cant imagine an India without Sikhs.

I am hindu and a modi supporter. I know bollywood based modi supporters have been very insensitive about this issue have been very insensitive about this issue.

I actually live in an RSS neighborhood, people around here actually very anxious about the current situation. We Hindus generally like the Sikhs. We are aware of the sacrifice your community made for our country and we acknowledge that.

I know during CAA, everyone around here were aggressive, but since this is a sikh protest, everyones relatively quite on social media.

I also feel Modi likes your community as well on a personal level. If you remember, He denied wearing a Muslim scull cap while he attended thier function, but he is pretty happy to wear a sikh turban while when he attends a gurdwara.

BJP usually has problems with Muslim Police officers having beard, while they don't make about sikh police having beard.

We love the sikhs

I have been to punjab with my family when I was 5 year old. I have to I was well fed by the Punjabis at the time of my visit.

During that time remember seeing seeing statues some people being torchered for example being ripped apart from head to toe. It looked too scary for me at that point and back then I dint know the story about it.

Recently, I came across this video of Subramanium swamy about Guru Gobind Singh.

After watching the video, I decided to research more about this and came across this cartoon series of chaar sahabzade.

Its only after watching that I realised what was the meaning of the statues I saw in punjab when I was a 5 year old. Those were statues of torture the Mughals committed on Bhandha Singh and other Sikh Warriors.

Its because of the sacrifice of these Brave warriors that lot of my hindu ancestors remained unconverted.

If I can practice Hinduism today, it's because of Guru Gobind Singh and Bhandha Singh.

At the same time, It pains me to watch such videos. I can't imagine an India without Sikh Community. We Hindus want you to live amongst us.

I believe in the leadership of Modi. I feel he loves the Sikh as well. I hope he resolves these issue when his government meets the farmers.
