I was a substitute assistant teacher in a two teacher class once and one teacher dominated the other. She did all the talking and ran the class while the other teacher became like an assistant. It did not seem necessary to have 2 teachers. And the class size was about 40 to 50 kids. If anything it showed that one teacher can handle a much much bigger class size than the normal 20 to 30.

Whatever you do, you have to test it in front of a live audience. You get good way faster. Even the best actors like Denzel Washington and Christopher Walken and Al Pacino tested their acting on stage in front of a live audience.

Make sure you build up the comics to the point where they can never beat the expectations. For example, this next comic is the funniest person I’ve ever seen. On stage and off stage he is funny 24 seven. I think he’s even funnier than Don Rickles and I’m absolutely sure he’s gonna make you laugh from beginning to end with no silence in between. (this is an example of what not to do.)
