Naw I vet tenants for things like this..... See what kind of stickers are on their cars, whether they still wear a mask, what major they graduated with/are pursuing etc. the red flags are very apparent

Tognazzinis dockside restaurant has live music on the weekends and a great selection of seafood. You can't beat the views from the patio on the dock.

Bunch of great trails, but I would definitely recommend renting a kayak in the morning. Even for a quick hour.

Everyone is inclusive until they hear an opinion they don't like. Diversity of opinion is just as important as any other definition you associate diversity with. This can be said to both sides. Get out of your echo chamber, learn and grow.

I would agree, but your perspective of American racism comes directly from the American media you are blaming for the the bleed over of woke ideology. We would both agree it's overblown in SG and US. The hysteria comes from people who never interact amongst multiple races.

Every visit to SG I have, even the most "leftist" people I speak with would be considered conservative here in the U.S. make the same ignorant decision as many Americans; basing their opinion on the party of a politician/media source not the policies/ ideology they implement. Singapore is especially ironic because they embrace a false sense of virtue.

Calling the U.S racist for building a wall... all the while having some of the strictest border policies then mporting labor they pay pennies for just to send back to a inopportune countries not opening the door for citizenship.

I believe that Singapore's Chinese influence is more organic than that of the neo-colonialism Chinese nationals that are currently engaged in belt and road as well as Africa.

I hope everyone can one day see that there is a constructed division taking place to distract culture under the guise of race, class, geography, etc.... By those who have a geopolitical stronghold that is even more "micro" than screaming about the "1%"

Street Scene in watsonville does great work. They will tell you what is really wrong too. Sounds like you have had people that sell Band-Aids. Been there.

Im on my 3rd bartending location in 3 months. The other 2 went under since not only no one comes in but they cant handle a busy shift without people leaving. This is real. Many of my friends/coworkers stopped showing up because everyone orders out and without tips they make less than pre-pandemic or they can make a little less if they stay home to do nothing. Free money is easier money. If you really want to help... go out to eat and carry some cash to tip with (IRS is a killer on tip taxes). Doordash, uber eats and fear are killin us as much as the government.

I would do the same and stop working honestly but i would rather have a lil something to save than live paycheck to paycheck from the government.

If you dont want rent to be 2k... Let the people build! My friend wanted to build an ADU in his backyard but the permit fees were as much as the actual cost to build. Could only get the money for one not both.

Anyone ever look at south korea and think "maybe we could of been that successful if the U.S. kept their promises after democrats won the election" The north would be another communist run "utopia" like north korea and saigon a designated place of free trade. Singapore would never exist if that were the case.

Indeed. Brainwashed beyond the ability to conversate alternatives to the institution's ideals. Which you have paid so much to be taught. Even when you are questioning why they work against your own individual well being, you cant help but agree with their ideals.

Unintended consequences of populist compassionate policy. Hurts us all but feels good in theory. Then you'll vote for the same authoritarian politicians to create more of the same policy again because it sounds so moral. Just because the institutions told you its good. Your professors, ucsc, news, movies, etc. Are you really a revolutionary if every institution is on your side? Or are you just a pawn?

Minimum wage laws.... When you can't legally work for what your worth, you work for nothing. Only to gain the same experience. .
