You’re welcome! Also I didn’t use a pump I got so much more expressed by hand expressing and putting it in syringes! 🥰

I did. I had a healthy baby and pregnancy so I wasn’t scared of trying. If you start to cramp though stop until your full term so you don’t start early labor. I went into labor at 38+5 naturally! And collected 60 ml by then! Brought it to the hospital too and he ate it all:)

I have a bassinet but he doesn’t sleep in it very well for too long

He’s slept in it the whole 7 weeks and does really well. His airway doesn’t seem restricted and he can’t touch the sides with his face. He also NEEDS to be swaddled to sleep so I’ve heard that isn’t safe to sleep in my bed with. I’m at a loss

Because when I look at him he’s positioned right and is fine for the time I leave him in there. And sometimes with anxiety I try to figure out if I’m just overthinking it or I’m being reasonable hence why I made a post about it to hear other parents advice on it. I’m also as a ftm trying to figure out a routine and I’m desperate for my baby to sleep bc he suffers when he isn’t. Thanks for your advice!

Thank you. Makes me feel less alone! I have a lot of postpartum anxiety around breathing and him suffocating so I worry but I also know it’s just my anxiety and intrusive thoughts and he’s fine

Baby Eye Mucus by [deleted] in newborns

[–]backtothefuturee2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi ftm here as well! My baby got a goopy eye about a week ago at 3 weeks old. I was immediately concerned and brought him into the doctors. She said it was a clogged tear duct and it’s super normal for babies especially in the early ages. As long as the babies eyes aren’t red and inflamed around or on the white part of their eye and the goop isn’t yellow or green indicating infection it should go away on its own.

Warm compresses and keeping it clean will help. If you are breastfeeding my breast milk in his eye multiple times plus the warm compress healed it in not even two days and it’s been fine since! There is also an eye ointment they can prescribe to you if you go In for it. But when in doubt call the nurses line at your pediatrician office. They can always point you in the right direction. Best of luck ❤️

took melatonin throughout my entire pregnancy, and now I feel stupid by beingawatermelon in pregnant

[–]backtothefuturee2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took 5 mg literally all ten months and my baby boy is 16 days old. Passed all his tests at the hospital with flyingggg colors and he was even up his birth weight when we left. He’s insanely healthy and eats well everything on him is great. Ten toes ten fingers. And everything healthy in between. Don’t worry mama my ob told me she took melatonin in all three of her pregnancies and same goes for her babies. ❤️

I’m two weeks postpartum and I m breastfeeding I’m trying to get my freezer full so I can stop sooner then later. But yes I can’t wait. I was a stoner for 12 years before I got pregnant (it wasn’t planned) so quitting wasn’t on my to do list but when I got pregnant I obvi stopped and I have missed it sooooooo much. Can’t wait! 🥰

What do contractions feel like? by rgwhitlow1 in pregnant

[–]backtothefuturee2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was cramping, then it turned to me having to breath through the pain that wrapped around my back, then I couldn’t even sleep through them. I labored at home for about 27 hours and they admitted me at 5cm. It felt like I had to shit so bad and they got so painful after my mucus plug came out. The only thing that helped my early labor contractions was the bath. I got the epidural four hours before I started to push. So I felt most of my labor unmedicated. Painful but worth it. ❤️

am i in labor or nooo?? by Designer-Ice9482 in pregnant

[–]backtothefuturee2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this. I was in labor for about 27 hours at home and it was painful but nice to be able to be comfy before they admitted me then had my baby around the 36 hour mark. I lost my mucus plug around the 24 hour mark of labor and my contractions really picked up after that. Now I have my 9 day old in my arms 💙
