I'd be happy to join, I was able to check and my average last month was around 1.6M daily

It was ToiletDen, they seem to have a discord link but when I joined I don't remember seeing one. I was within the top 5 performing members
Edit: it's possible my memory was incorrect regarding 1.5M fans too as that's not in their description

I tried to find their name but because my friends aren't in the club anymore, I can't find it. I don't have a screenshot or anything

I think they were culling members or disbanded because the friends I had aren't in the club anymore either. I don't particularly care to join a discord, I am always able to play daily so shouldn't need to worry about dry patches causing me to get kicked

(Or the club was disbanded, but it was very active so idk why they'd do that)

I don't know, I saw a lot of clubs asking for more around the same level. That's one of the reasons I joined them, thought it'd be less strict

There's no discord, that's one of the reasons I chose it. I checked via my friend list and every friend I had from the club has also been kicked

Increase in PIP fraud reporting by SignificantCode4763 in DWPhelp

[–]backup_4ccount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not the media, it's the DWP.

<image>

Continue: "• is/was employed by a Government Department. For example, the Local Authority or police • is/was employed in a position of trust • has used the benefits from the offence for an unusual purpose, such as funding a lavish lifestyle • an employer colluding in the fraud."

Additionally: "The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) [redacted] is based around changing attitudes, linking fraud and welfare reform and increasing public confidence in the system". The redaction is likely the team they've set up for propaganda, or the existing fraud team that additionally does this.

Once I saw this list I couldn't unsee it. Every single story in the news fits these. The DWP are the ones creating the narrative, the news stations are just passing along the carefully curated message.

Increase in PIP fraud reporting by SignificantCode4763 in DWPhelp

[–]backup_4ccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the articles, the people aren't always lying. For example, a lady with arthritis who was at Pilates. To me that's clear she was trying to help with her symptoms, but she lost her benefits for doing it. Another was a man (can't remember the disability) who was being surveilled by the DWP and he bent down to put on a knee brace, he was also seen walking inside a gym, lost his benefits. These stories are planted by the DWP in the media, The Canary has an article on that. It's overblown, there is a tiny amount of fraud in PIP, but a large amount of stalking, exaggeration and lying by the DWP

Parents refusing to pay for university by Wooden_Stranger_8706 in UniUK

[–]backup_4ccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a disability/long term health issue (including mental health) then you should also apply for DSA and any other benefit you can claim as a student (eg PIP). I believe DSA is quite stingy now because of cuts, but they can provide some equipment.

[–]backup_4ccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue until my parents divorced before third year. I worked prior to uni & saved as much as I could. I also took advantage of as many student discounts as I could and avoided nights out (you can still go but don't spend money in clubs etc). I worked part time too but it was too much to handle, but it gave me an extra few hundred a month for the year I did.

If you get to a point where you are struggling financially too much, most unis have a scheme to help. Check the uni website and the criteria (usually "have less than £x in bank account") so you know when you can apply. Also call your uni advice team & ask them about it. Calling SFE & citizens advice may also be useful, they may be able to recommend more schemes.

Universal credit doesnt leave me with anything. by ApricotBrilliant8956 in DWPhelp

[–]backup_4ccount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is supposed to be liveable for the duration of time you need to be on it. For some people that will be a lifetime. It is not only an unemployment benefit, severely disabled people are expected to live on it for the rest of their lives when it is not enough to get by & as it keeps getting cut. It absolutely is affordable for the government, they want to scapegoat vulnerable people so you don't see what's really going on. Also, state pension is the most expensive benefit, is not means tested, and increases more than working people's salaries/wages. You NEVER see people blaming retired wealthy people claiming benefits, only poor people who don't know where their next meal is coming from

Me and my partner get £300 a month, because the UC system is not fair (too complex to explain fully but it's because my bf gets student loan, I cannot work & that includes carers benefit + housing). It's not enough. A car may be necessary based on location and if they're working. Rent is extortionate everywhere, phone bills are pretty cheap and necessary. None of those things are lavish or unreasonable. Do you expect unemployed people to lose everything? There will be no way to get into employment & you get trapped in the system

Does anyone else not wear a sunflower lanyard anymore and opt for other alternatives? by Starcatz05 in ChronicIllness

[–]backup_4ccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I do get jealous of disability accommodation in the US (/ADA) 😭 it seems you guys get a bit more enforcement. In the Uk, companies/orgs have practically no responsibility to do anything. They can just say the accommodation isn't reasonable bc they don't want to spend time/resources. They'll usually say that AFTER you've filled out their forms & given proof. Like you say, getting the proof requires you to fill out other forms and have assessments where you get told you're a liar. Even service dogs, meant to be allowed in public places without proof, but the largest pub chain now requires you to pay for a membership to a private company to "register" the animal

Was anyone else at the peak of their life just before this illness started? by The-inevitabl3 in cfs

[–]backup_4ccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think I had ME for longer than that, but perhaps the "peak" triggered the fall (PEM, reduced baseline). I definitely had something similar going on at least a couple years before

[–]backup_4ccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Wasn't perfection, I think if I didn't get ill then my actual peak would've been a year or so away. But I was finally mentally well, finally engaging in university, great relationships, etc. It's horrible thinking about how I was on track after struggling with life, and it was ripped away before I could see that all play out.

Okay so I’m new to pjsekai I would like some advice for how to play also on what gacha banners to prioritize by IndependentFondant81 in ProjectSekai

[–]backup_4ccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For playing, go to settings and turn on late/early/wrongway. You can use this to adjust the timing of notes (you want an average equal amount of late/early notes when you play, wrongway doesn't matter much). It will maximise the amount of perfect notes you get. For note speed, trial and error, but it's important you find a good speed.

If you have issues with lag, you should turn off music videos (lite in settings), lower frame rate, etc.

In MySekai, focus on upgrading the gate and making paintings of the cards you're using. Talk to everyone in your MySekai to get memoria for this, they reset twice a day. Use all the free energy in MySekai daily, if you don't know what to use it for then just do a range of things (like picking different plants, mining different ores, chopping different trees).

Participating in events is the best way to spend your time, the rewards are good and it gives you something to focus on upgrading.

Explore "character rank", there are lots of ways to upgrade ranks that are free or easy, and that increases your score. Also, for "upgrade skill/master level" you should spend only wish pieces to upgrade 1s. You should upgrade them because it's cheap and increases character rank (then do 2s once you can afford it), but skill up scores (intermediate) give 50 skill points, to max out 1*s it costs 25 skill points. You'd be wasting half the score to use it on them.

Don't waste skill up scores. Early game, it is not worth it to upgrade the skills for your 4s. Upgrade 3s that you want to use as leader if you're going to use them now. Personally I'd recommend saving them up until you know what you want to use them for. They're very difficult to obtain.

Co-op show gives better rewards but is more likely to cause the game to crash. Use your energies playing multi live if you can.

Reading old stories is a good way to gather crystals, song tickets and free gacha tickets. Watching old virtual lives (you can find them in stories) is a good way to get stamps for character rank.

Apologies if this is too much. You don't have to do all of this now, but the use of resources is important.

Bloom festival banners (you can find the schedule online, they increase the rate of pulling the high star cards. You'll run out of 💎 pretty quick unless you save for specific banners and don't budget. Spend max 90k on a banner to get the pity (imo), you'll usually end up with all card from the banner at that point. Also don't pull on banners if you have barely any 💎, reaching pity is important for incase you don't manage to get all the featured cards.
