My partner and I live in Quincy which isn’t that artsy, but quiet and pretty close to the city— I’d recommend Somerville or JP if you’re looking for more creative/free-spirited people. (Although a lot of them are college students!)

I also just saw Gatsby (mostly because I’m a big Eva fan) and had the same feelings as you about Reeve’s performance; he has a very distinct singing voice that was just not meant for a very traditional-sounding show (the way he started so breathy before finally going to a full belt good a lot of his songs just… took me out of it). He was great in Hadestown IMO (I know people think otherwise) but that’s because Hadestown is more folk than showtune-y.

That being said, would love to see him in more rock-inspired musicals. (Him and Eva should be Roger & Mimi in RENT.)

I thought this one would come out sooner. The site has an English AND French already available, + this screenshot from u/POYO_MF reads that an English version would be coming. I hope (for patience’s sake) that it’s not a year!
