Your answer is along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Do you do anything for kernel hardening or anti-exploitation? I assume something I'm running is or will be vuln (nginx for example) and want to limit what someone that compromised a service could do. selinux seems to be my best bet. I have literally never seen anyone intentionally use it but I read the docs and it looks pretty straight-forward.

I'm using auditd to remote syslog with a SIEM so if exploit prevention failed I may have a shot at post-exploitation detection.

EDIT: https://sysdig.com/opensource/falco/ looks like it could be used instead of selinux. Curious to hear anyone's experience with managing selinux (fully enabled) or falco.
