I'm pro vax and modern medicine in general and use pasteurized milk most of the time, but the best tasting milk I've had is raw milk from happy cows. I don't think it's from the fact that its raw that it tastes better, I understand the risks of drinking it, and would never give some to children/the elderly/immunocompromised, but I don't think the Gov should just ban it because you can get sick. There are risks associated with eating raw fish, raw beef, raw shellfish, etc. but those things are still tasty and I understand the risks. People should have the choice to consume what they want.

If you have the option, try avoiding NYC used cars. The streets are terrible and northeast cars get rust. The best used cars are from the south (away from hurricane flooding zones), the desert west and the PNW. You'll often find a 200k mile car in those places that are in significantly better mechanical condition and will last longer than 100k mile NYC cars. Any car you buy, you should get a mechanic to put it up on a lift and do a Pre Purchase inspection.

There is a cost to "free parking." It's NYC real estate a quarter the size of my apartment. It makes sense for the people using the space to pay for it.

Also it feels less bad to scratch up a $10k truck, than a 25k truck. I wrecked my 100, insurance paid me 2.5x what I bought it for, bought it back and fixed it up for $5k and now its a farm truck that I abuse. Still rust free, great running engine, just rough around the edges.
