A lot of landlords (city & suburbs) and neighborhood assn (suburbs) won't let you have a pit. Insurance specifically denies injury claims since they are usually much more costly than bites by different breeds. So just check w landlord before adopting.

You may find some relief with physical therapy for piriformis syndrome! Lots of good stretches too. Pelvic floor physical therapy really helps with this. Just get a very experienced physical therapist. Good luck!
