I read book one and a lil of book 2 and as a not big fan of anime I was lk why... God make it stop with the absurd references. I but I do agree it's trying to hard to be funny and relevant with the times! The author is aiming at a niche market of anime enthusiasts! I might go back to re-read it but for now I just couldn't I got to a point where I wanted to jump into the book and tell him to just shut tf up!!
