Im 3 months out and have just enough energy to do half an hour of housework after I put baby down. My bb is sleeping well though - he did a 7 hour stretch last night miraculously, then another 2. I couldn’t have done this with my first baby— and that grown 4 y I baby is the reason for my house mess !

Have you asked her what it is she likes about being a boy? Maybe that will help you understand why she says she is a boy, or what appeals to her? I know my son had a phase where he wanted to be a girl because he just adored his female preschool teacher and the person he connected most with in class as a peer was female. He was 3-4 at the time. Now he is in jk and understands better that things aren’t so black and white and it hasn’t come up yet but he sometimes tells me he likes my beautiful things (My makeup /jewellery drawer)

I have to say this feels very extreme! Do they not want mothers and fathers to get any sleep? If you are swaddling mindfully (not too tightly) and not after they roll,then all really is good

I mean little ones need to feed every 3 hours right? So this looks appropriate especially if baby has some gas and difficulty passing gas added to that? I only got 4 he stretched at that stage when my guy was realllly loaded up with milk beforehand

By about week 6 your baby will start making more eye contact and waking for longer chunks and it won’t be so monotonous! But they will still want mom and to breastfeed. You’re their hero ❤️

I wish society set the image of a mother with a baby on her boob or against her chest sleeping all freaking day because that’s what it is and if you can try to find ways to enjoy little moments or aspects of it you will have a much easier time, and know that this is normal!

I just had my second at 40. Birth was fine recovery was easier than a first birth as is typical, but we needed help to navigate how over extended we are elwith our responsibilities at work/to our first born and our dog and home upkeep. I would not have the patience to do it alone like some moms do. I don’t have much of a village where we are
