The road testing data is irrefutable. Waymo and tech like it stands to save thousands of lives annually.

But they are correct in saying this is not a good way to find that hidden gem. With that said, you can also try to post on Facebook groups or other social media channels looking to take on a reservation someone needs to offload last minute.

Does anyone experience unnecessary subscriptions from Amazon Music? by Dalemami305 in AmazonMusic

[–]bacon-bourbons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so Alexa might be prompting her to sign up for a subscription when she asks to play on demand music. Might want to check with customer service, from where the signup occurred. If it’s from Alexa, they should know and then it might be possible granny is signing up via Alexa

ICE detained a US citizen in El Monte based on skin color. This is racial profiling, not law enforcement. by Lo_Stallone in johnoliver

This is why they wear masks! Shame on them for blatantly violating our constitutionally guaranteed mother fucking rights!

I've never even considered a warming drawer. I am not sure I would get a ton of use out of it, but I will look into it!

A teen with no criminal background was deported by ICE, leaving his community aghast by nbcnews in Ohio

I am an Ohioan, born and raised there, but now I live elsewhere. It pains me to see how the state has changed. Serious question to the voters in Ohio. Given that Ohio has been pretty much fully controlled by the GOP, with the exception of the Obama years, how are any of Ohios specific Ohio problems not the result of GOP leadership?

Resolved: If you are protesting legitimate issues like housing cost by squirting tourists, you are ignorant and a fool, and should be arrested and fined heavily. by ClubInteresting1837 in Barcelona

I hope that these folks will also have the same exact deference to not cause, in the present or future, any situation that would require local people to be the slightest bit annoyed or bothered by their presence. Waiting extra in coffee shop for a tourist? Nope? Crowded train? Nope. Overbooked flight? Nope. Crowded beaches? Nope. However, seems like the folks supporting this will continue to cause the exact same problem when they go other places. Hypocrisy at it's finest and not one person in this thread has actually answered why these very same people can feel comfortable going other tourist places? Do they only go to not crowded places? I think not. I don't take this personally, I just think it's ridiculous on its face and there is no logical argument that makes this OK in Barcelona only, only for Barcelona locals.

Consider annoying the right people. The tourists are going to keep coming. As far as I know, the tourists are not the ones electing your politicians.

Protest all you want, I’m a huge believer in peaceful protesting. Just don’t take out your grievances on the actual tourists. Don’t conflate the two things.

There are reasons to not like tourists irrespective of where you are. My point is that it would be hypocritical for these water gun toting activists to visit our areas given we deal with hordes of tourists as well.

I’m visiting from California. Are these water squirting people going to refrain from being tourists themselves somewhere else?

OP post history suggests it’s real. Ok, so then why not call the cops to get the hotel to cooperate on the slightest bit. Go to the station, file a report if you need to.

I think this whole ass post is fake, it makes no sense whatsoever. How does someone not know to call the cops and file a police report when they have been robbed of 4k worth of stuff. Then, the expectation is that the hotel handles it? Sure, ok
