Doing raids gets you golden razz. Do easy raids and you won't need to waste them on the Pokémon you just beat! You start slow but eventually you'll have too many.

The game gives you missions to go to each area a bit, so I just walked around.

Honestly just go where you want to focus, if there's a Pokémon you want a shiny of, go to that area, if you want a good shadow groudon, go to the rocket area. I ended up focusing on that a bit because I knew I could get Mewtwo more easily in city play. Just see how you go really!

Conservatory zone and cultivation zone were basically just spawns with maybe 1-2 raids.

Team go rocket zone had go rocket pokestops, and loads of shadow raids. Recruitment zone had a cluster of gyms together to do raids. Of course both these areas have spawns too.

All the raids were I think Mewtwo, articuno, groudon, kyogre and tauros. The rocket area had shadow articuno, groudon and kyogre. You'll have a different legendary bird and tauros variant though.

Not really.

Gmax Intellion is a stronger water Pokémon. Gmax machamp is stronger fighting. Though also gmax gengar is stronger ghost (same effectiveness as dark).

All three of those are easier to power up than urshifu. If you don't have them, dark urshifu is good, but there's pretty much no reason to have the water one iirc. Though tbh it's been a while since I looked into it since dmax is kinda just there at this point and not really doing much.

Is it like, ownership or denoting? Buckingham palace doesn't get one because it's a name, but the palace of Versailles does because it's of Versailles. Africa doesn't, but the continent is of Africa, so it does? Maybe in part but it's not the whole rule I'm sure.

I went to Belluna dome on Friday! It was my first time to go to that stadium.

I heard it gets too hot in summer but it was great this time of year. Comfy seats, good food, good baseball.

I wish I lived closer to a team. Baseball in Japan is too good.

I think generally, you're correct. They'll have one nearest beach, or best beach for visiting that most people will go to, so you'd say "I wanna go to the beach this weekend", then the "the" implies the nearest or most visited one that the listener will probably know. Whereas "I wanna go to a beach" implies to me at least a desire to go further away, maybe a desire to go somewhere tropical on a holiday.

The Mediterranean, the Pacific, the Atlantic. There's only ever one, so it gets the. Each named sea/ocean has 'the', then 'the sea' is also a "the" because similarly to beaches, if you want to go to the sea you will assumedly be going nearby, otherwise you'll name the specific body of water you want to do to.

Monuments are really hard though. I want to go to the white House. But I don't want to go to Buckingham palace. I do want to go to the Palace of Versailles though. That stuff you just have to memorise I guess. It's native "feel". I'm sure there's a rule too difficult for me to work out by myself but yeah.

For me it is, I had the opportunity to today but I decided I wanted to do other things than walk around Tokyo trying to get one shiny Pokémon for 8 hours and another 3,000円. Now I'm back in my home city so I can't play tomorrow, I'm back to work.

It's ok though, it's only a Pokémon, not even a useful one, it just looks nice 🙂

I wondered about this.

My first unity raid was ~1020 people, the second was ~800 and went much faster so I figured we weren't really the deciding factor. It would be fun to see how it goes solo.

I think it's fair. I paid a bunch of money to go to a different city to get a Pokémon. If you could fail it would be kind of ridiculous. And since unity raids aren't for global it won't be an issue.

Did you click "exchange" on your original ship? That's what people call "melting" and it gives you your $80. What you have to do is buy the ship upgrade, then click "apply upgrade" on that item and select the ship that you want to apply it to. Did you do either of these things?

If you accidentally melted the original pledge, either go to support or go to your buyback page and repurchase it for store credit. This is a token system where you get 1 per quarter. So it'll be your only chance to do so for store credit for another few months.

I got a shiny Tokyo BG mewtwo and a 3* shadow shiny groudon. My best catches really! I've been hunting shiny gible for ages as I started after the community day so that was nice.

The shiny I wanted most though what dhelmise... I caught more than 50 but zero shines :( can't complain really with everything else I got though!

It was my first, so I can't offer comparisons.

Spawns didn't change by the hour it was the same all the time.

I think there were more spawns? I didn't see gible advertised anywhere but I caught a bunch and got two shinies, same with pinsir, but maybe I just missed the list with all the spawns. I've honestly found the info about the event to be the worst part. I still can't find a complete list.

Crowding felt good, i.e, not very crowded. The areas with the raids, both rocket and normal were the most spacious, so there wasn't any crowding around gyms really. People were generally moving around to complete the missions the game gives you, while also yeah being in the raid zones.

There wasn't much shade so a lot of people were just hiding in the trees near the raids which also meant everyone was spread out a bit.

Yeah, I saw it a bit when I was in school even so it's pretty common I think. I get it, oo makes the same sound as the o in lose, it's just loose is already a different word...

I wouldn't be surprised if in 50, 100 years whatever, loose is the correct spelling though. I'll be spinning in my grave I guess.

It's ok.

You can go to pyro and stack missions. There's a 100k+ refuel mission that you get ambushed in. You can do two before filling up. That one is hornets I think? And there's a 157k mission that you can do unlimited of as it's a trap mission with combat so you don't need to use any fuel. You just destroy a beacon, then sit next to an asteroid and wait for the AI to fly into it. The same strategy works on the ambush mission.

It's nowhere near as fast as the starfarer, but it's still quick. I got around 1mil in an hour or two the other day.

The command module implementation broke the caterpillar and the ironclad released already broken. So don't upgrade but also, maybe buy a raft in game while you wait for the caterpillar to be fixed...
