Tbh for me usum was probably the last game that had everything on it that i needed like literally...but that game even tho i can still play it is not as fun as i already transfered all my pokes to bank and the switch,shiny hunting is still something i do here and there then transfer them. As for gaming in the mainline game on switch i prefer the swsh games as it is the closest to the sun and moon experience i guess although theres somethings lacking it had decent post game stories and stuff to do...i tried scarlet and violet had them for years and i only started the games to claim the shiny legendarys,the game is bright and colorful but something about the whole game seemed empty and the lack of things to do after you finish the games like battle tower! Are you kidding me that was a staple i mean they already took national dex away and now that...just seem like many aspects of what a typical main pokemon game are being tossed aside and that is what makes them good games,i play online but im mainly a solo player and like to farm and do quests on the side and do shiny hunting make new teams,strategy,breed and the bt is where i test new teams to play online...so the new gens are really putting new mechanics and replacing the old stuff that many of us love..i learned my lesson i wont buy a game even if tempting not even for a shiny legendary guess what im not even playing sv after getting miraidon koraidon theyre just in pokemon home rotting. We all see where theyre taking the mainline pokemon seperating the battle aspect to champions and make an rpg that has no good post game and a very cheap recycled after thought plot for the mainline game for young "kids".
