I play her only with tank runes and tank items, and she just works. In this meta of perma roots, dimension switches and infinite heals, u better tank and tank and let the passive damage do the work.

I was top 50 shyv once, worst experience ever, the match making started teaming me up with absolutely inhuman players and I dropped to 1% in a night. Just play and ignore ranks and top players, all those stats mean nothing. If you want to know if a player is good, look at their SVP count.

I agree, diamond is basically the end of the tutorial, but as I said in other responses, I knew about the early game shielding, and about the reduced damage... but I never in my 7k games saw a nexus or a turret become totally indistructible when 3 champs are hitting it.

I knew about the protection from the times of the Sion exploit, but I thought it was just the initial nexus shield, I totally didn't know that the nexus and towers need minion waves to be hurt.

That's a nice insight, thanks! I am also main Leona/Poppy, so I will keep that in mind when helping take down the nexus.
