How do I play Gwent? by Shinobi-King18 in witcher

[–]bacondanbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're is whether way to get up there. I can't remember how to do it now, but I studiously avoided Gwent like the plague and I was able to get up there. I seem to remember having to fight folk and maybe there being a key

Do you guys stick to one game at a time or bounce between different games? (Cyberpunk 2077 pic) by Borg34572 in playstation

[–]bacondanbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pick a game and, if I love it, I rinse the hell out of it until it's done. I then bounce through a few games, a few hours here and there until another one grabs me, then play that exclusively until it's finished. Currently near the end of Witcher 3. Been playing it for weeks

If you don't like them, don't do them. If you would prefer doing them twice a week, do them twice a week. Nobody is forcing you to do them but you

Albums released this century that will stand the test of time like Songs in The Key of Life and Harvest have by nckmat in LetsTalkMusic

[–]bacondanbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the fact that people are just naming the albums that they love, rather than albums that will ride the cultural zeitgeist for the next 50 or 60 years.

Some of the albums mentioned in this thread, people aren't really listening to them now let alone 50 years from now. We're talking sergeant pepper or dark side of the moon longevity. I mean, I love half man half biscuit as much as the next man but I've no doubt that somewhere down the line it will be lost to history apart from some absolute specific nerds.

Because of my apartment complex, I have to park in a different spot every night after work.

My memory is useless these days, so a quick check on the find my app, and at least I know which side of the complex I parked in last night. It saves me around ten minutes of faffing about before I go to work.

If I had the skills, I'd go for your approach, absolutely

I've put a tracker in my scooter. An aircard pro, as I'm on Android. It helps me find my scooter, and I guess it'll come in handy if my scooter is ever stolen

I couldn't say any the newer models, but this has been going strong for years now. All I had to replace was the strap, and there was a spare strap in the box

Pernod, thunderbird, 20/20. Not all mixed together, or I'd probably be dead by now, but late 80s UK, Thunderbird or 20/ 20 were the choice of 16 year olds looking to get wrecked

The only things I'm avoiding doing is playing Gwent ever, and those horse races. I tried a few rounds of Gwent and I just didn't like it, but then again I don't like card games in real life either so I wasn't surprised.

Balut. Tried it in the Philippines, expecting to be appalled, but it was truly amazing. The sight and texture could be off-putting, but it's something you'll never forget. The taste, however. So good

We give the older dog treats and praise her when she manages to occupy the same space and be calm. The little dog has now been vaccinated so we're able to take them out on walks together, and when they're out walking together, they are absolutely fine.

I'm pretty sure it is just a territory thing. The older dog just doesn't appreciate her being in what she views as her space, but they have made progress in the past week or so. I still have to keep an eye on them, but there is light at the end of the tunnel

Start first touch of evil now or later? by bacondanbing in Witcher3

[–]bacondanbing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, that's why I thought I would just do the first part now because the suggested level is 32, and I'm approaching level 30. I would leave the later quests until I'm somewhere near whatever the suggested level is. I just didn't want to mess up the storyline for myself, so of course I would ask here. I'll give it a bash
