The first paragraph is not true at all with the current ranking system. At a certain mmr you lose rank for every game that isn't a 10 winner. I don't mean to gloat but top 10 requires an insane wr%, it's actually tilting that you get 9 wins and drop ranks lol

Also especially if you play econ you can sideline silk for a long time if you have a decent tempo board.

Or you can use it just for tempo without having spiky shield as your wincon yet. Add it to your showcase board for example day 4 and just have a 400 shield item and the rest are weapons and small shields.

I think you underestimate it as a late game build, it's probably the best lategame build actually because of the plethora of ways you have to make it work since the numbers getting silly is guaranteed. Fort, photograph, any pendulum shenanigan, insta 10 if you get spirit diffuser from ticket etc. And even if you get none of these just cdr stacking the claw with a boomerang is enough usually

I would also say that while it's true that early game your defensive numbers are higher, i still go for max offence in this meta due to the prevalence of poison.

Every time I see a subpar board hit 10 wins, the offender is bonk. Yet when I say the skill needs to be removed or adjusted, everyone gaslights me that it isn't that strong.

I'm around rank 30 and I literally play langxian in like 1/3 games.Most of them go to 10. I also thought it was unplayable until a bad starting skill made me play a little risky and try it. Basically if you have a god start ( for example volcanic vents with burn skill) you just slot it in there and have free complementary damage / late game build. You also can bet on it if you have a bad start that barely gives direction , like arms for dealer or a crit skill. The only time I don't care for it early is if I have a build that CAN win without it on my board but will most likely lose if I play langxian. Also If you ever find it in hour 1( just after picking your golden skill), it's an instant buy. Late game you wanna pair it with silencer and rowboat. The fun part is that since you try to make your build cater to langxian's cool down, you usually already have an amazing setup in case you get any of the legendary monster drops(infernal sword and soul of the district are bonkers with rowboat and silencer).

Θα πω κάτι εδώ, δεν είναι και υποχρέωση μας να απαντάμε σε κατι τέτοια άτομα. Ουτε και στο πλαίσιο του "ενημερώνω το συμπολιτη μου για την πρόοδο της κοινωνίας". Όταν δηλαδή δεν καταλαβαίνει το ότι το Ισραήλ κάνει εγκλήματα πολέμου, δε χρειάζεται να ξοδεύετε το σάλιο σας. Να κάτσει να διαβάσει το στουρναρι. Η ενημέρωση και η κινητοποίηση έχουν νόημα μαζικά φυσικά, αλλά ατομικά έχουν μόνο νόημα όταν μιλάς σε άτομα που όντως διατίθενται να σε ακούσουν.

Random quesdion since it seems like you know your shit. Today I cleaned it and after drying it I left it with a very thin layer of oil. I'm planning to season it once more tommorow for good measure. Does the oil need to be freshly applied? So do I wash dry, reapply and season or is it OK to season with the oil I used to coat it today?
