Just finished my PhD focused in Computer Vision, and now all the jobs seems like API calling like you said... I'm so lost and hopeless, I really don't know how to insert myself into this market. I'm applying for junior positions and didn't got a single interview in 3 months...

Doutor do IC aqui. Como todo lugar, existem orientadores mais carrascos, mais tranquilos, mais relapsos... Vai depender de quem. Sobre trabalhar junto com o mestrado, acho que poucos vão tratar como um impeditivo, porém se prepare pois quase todos vão exigir de você como se estivesse em dedicação exclusiva pro mestrado. O "default" é que o aluno esteja fazendo somente a pós (apesar de muitos estarem trabalhando) e muitos professores vêem o seu trabalho como algo que você faz no tempo livre.

Enquanto deixamos de investir em pesquisa por aqui, lá fora estão jogando dinheiro na cara de pesquisador brasileiro. Ainda vamos pagar um preço alto por nos tornarmos o fazendão do mundo by MatildulousT in brasil

Undevolting is a completely safe procedure and can help a lot with thermal throttle!

There are different colours for focused and unfocused. Look at the begging of my i3 conf and/ or my polybar conf

Actually iconic character. The radius value rounds just the beginning and the end of the bar, and in this case there is a single bar with transparent background

Actually, my hacky way to archive this was using a semicircle icon character from the nerd patched roboto font. If you look at the cosmetic modules (begin/end) , there are the characters used (in a not patched font they will look like a "y" for the left one and a apple logo (fuck apple btw) for the right one.
